    Great video, thanks a lot!
    Since there is a lot of expertise from you and your viewers: I’m stumbling upon a lot of connies with cal. 562 movements (instead of the mentioned cal. 561): Are they replacement movements or have there been pie pans delivered with cal. 562?
    Keep up the good work!

    It's often said that the Constellation was the answer to the Rolex Datejust, but in reality, the Constellation was just a continuation of the Centenary chronometer line in 1948, which was released to celebrate Omega's 100th anniversary. Neither the Centenary or the first Constellations had date windows at first, and neither were intended as competitors to any watch in particular - Simply expressions of Omega's watchmaking prowess and a testament to the chronometric performance of their movements at observatory trials.

    Been following your Instagram for a while, and been doing a lot of window shopping on the site. Great to see some video stuff too. Quick Question, what were the straps and buckles like in the fifties and how did they change over the life of the vintage constellation?

    • @GoldammerVintageWatches
      @GoldammerVintageWatches  3 года назад +2

      In the 50s bracelets & buckles are very versatile. There are a lot of variants of steel up to yellow gold bracelets. The vintage models don’t really change. The bracelets started to change in the mid 70s with the first quarz models.
