When installing the decals, spray soapy water (water with a little dish soap) on the polycarbonate before pasting the decal, and remove bubbles with a squeegy or credict card. Its the same way they install window tint on cars. Gets rid of bubbles.
I added links to a few things in the description. There are things that aren't easily accessible, such as panel art and the sensor channels are out of stock.
Honestly don't think that the new style sensor channels have that great of a design, the fact that they make the sensor sit that high is even worse, i know of an ITG machine where they had put hard rubber underneath the sensor channels to raise them, this made them very hard to trigger, modding was challenging because there wasn't enough room to add material on top of the L brackets, first time i tried to mod the up panel it sticked like crazy..
didnt know you could convert a DDR/ITG pad with piu brackets like this. Great stuff! Honestly some of the best content in dance games
The center insert on the piu stage is the same dimension as 4panel stages that’s why it works
Thanks a lot, not only for explaining how to go bracketless, but also to tell how arcade sensors, L brackets and panels work

You could use the L bracket plus original rubber channels. Original PIU still uses L bracket and rubber channels.
This is the best thing I ever seen. If the pads are the same height as the squares, sliding from ine pad to the next without injury can happen.

Comrade 😉
cool video! I didn't even know bracketless panels were a thing
Niice Work!!
What is the distance from the corner to the screw hole in the acrylic panel?
Where did you buy the arrow panels from? Did they drill the holes for you too?
Got them from someone who had an extra set without the art, already drilled
does this benefit from playing? like improve timing vs moving your step? been wondering
it can be very sensitive which is great for certain type of players but stomping too hard can easily cause misfires
@@lei ok good to know! im use to having brackets and i bought a pad that has no brackets. would prefer brackets since thats what im use too
this is weird, my SMX has no brackets and I hATEEE that. I like brackets on my pad because I'm used to them so without them I'll misfire things :/
any links to get all the stuff needed to do this plz

Would this upgrade kit work with a ddr game metal energy pad?
No, this is just for arcade pads. You may be able to mod an energy pad with FSRs.

Can you sell me a ddr switch frame? I’m desperately looking for one
I do not have any to sell
I guess the true bracketless pads are still 3DDX.
