I’m pregnant with my first baby and want to thank you so much for your channel and your videos. They have been so helpful. I’m overwhelmed and lost, even though I’m still in my first trimester.
Stay strong may god make us easy for us i my self r 11 weeks far and alone but god is with me every step of the way.. I pray for u x do the same for me many thanks and may god bless us
Thank you for your honesty!!! I can’t stand you tubers who say everything is a must have and it’s all stuff that’s super expensive. Your realness is so refreshing and reassuring
I'm 16 weeks with my second child, my first turns 11 in a few weeks. I didn't know I needed you, but omg are you my life saver. I feel like a first time mom again; lost, confused, and clueless. Everything has changed since 2009! It is a lot, thankfully my daughter was looking up baby stuff on here and found you, now we are both hooked and so thankful we found you!
Oh the wisdom that is gained from having one baby. I remember getting the advice that babies don't actually need a whole lot of stuff (and I didn't really listen). Our baby #2 is on the way almost 5 years after #1, but I feel so relieved making sure we only have essentials!
I’m on the same boat as you, I’m on baby number 2. My first baby is going to be 4. Luckily I have some of his old stuff but I don’t really need much either 😊
As a new terrified mom with a credit card, I really appreciate these videos. They're a life saver with all the experience advice such as the highchair cover getting easily dirty. There's far too many gimmicky products that clearly target the unanswered fears of first time moms, so it's good to know what actually works.
Thank you for making these videos! They are so helpful for us first time mommas. It can be overwhelming to create a registry and figure out what is needed for a new baby. I don’t want to spend a ton of money if I don’t need to.
Second time mom and I wish I would have this video for my daughter. I literally would have saved so much money. They actually need a lot less than people think.
This is the 2nd or 3rd video of yours I've watched and I love it. I love that you are giving realistic baby items instead of the high dollar ones that a lot of RUclipsrs suggest. Watching these videos help calm my anxiety about how expensive babies can be
I just found out I am pregnant about a week ago, just started a registry cause I’m excited😂 these videos helped so much!! I took so much stuff off that wasn’t necessary. Thanks so much❤️
If you buy a crib, get a cosleeper or is also called nest, it was shown together with the cribs when she was talking about it. It basically will prevent the baby from moving about in the crib while sleeps. With my son I used the little bassinet that comes with the pack and play as she showed. That is also a cosleeper if you take off the little hood thing. I put that in the middle of the crib and my son slept on it for 3 months. After he was on his crib without it and I had no extra stuff on the crib and he was fine. I think all kids are different, but I would definitely recommend a crib for first time parents.
First time mum here, thank u so much for this video, i am currently almost 4 months pregnant and i was feeling stressed about all the stuff i thought i needed to buy since i am unemployed. I am so glad i found your video, you have really helped me prepare my registry correctly ❤️
THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS. There are so many baby videos with nuna or uppababy products, and it's so refreshing to hear a mom who is aware that budgets are REAL and not everyone can afford the newest/most popular product on the market!
Thank you sooooo much for these videos! I’m a mom of one who is now 12 years old 😳 and I’m currently pregnant. So you can imagine A LOT has changed lol. I felt a little overwhelmed on where to even start so thank you again ❤️
I never thought about using a playpen instead of crib that’s so smart especially if you have a 2 story house you can have 1 upstairs in the nursery and 1 downstairs
THANK YOU for saying what to spend the money on and what to not spend the money on. This is a refreshing video compared to alot of youtube videos plastered with expensive name brand baby products that you don't know you should buy or not as a first time mom
Wow this video is so helpful! It's so overwhelming to start a registry when you don't even really know what you need, so it was nice to hear your perspective and it made me think of adding things I probably would've forgot!
I am expecting twins in February and it’s my first pregnancy.. I was clueless and from your videos I got to learn a lot. You also helped me so much with the C- section video , I feel like I know what will happen in the surgery as well as the fear now decreased .. thank you so so much ❤️❤️❤️
I am binge watching all your videos because you are so relatable. I am pregnant with #2 after 5 years. I FEEL LIKE A NEW MOM. my 5 year old might as well be a teenager and I forgot all of this baby stuff 😓
Just wanna say, I love your channel. I am 26 weeks pregnant and pretty much done with my registry, and I watched your last registry videos already (super helpful btw), but I'm here watching again, lol. Thanks for all the advice!
I am pregnant with my first and I love your videos! I want to buy minimum amount for space reasons. You have helped me with gathering what I actually need to raise a healthy and safe baby! THANK YOU!!!
THANKS MOMMA! My first is due December, I’m making my lists and checking them twice with confused, unsure eyes! This is exactly what I needed. BLESS YOUR HEART😇 I really needed that HONEST hand held walk through!!
Love how realistic you are!! Some mommas on here even after their 2nd, 3rd kid they’re still adding all these frivolous things to their registry! Makes me feel like I need it all even though I know I don’t lol. Due with baby #2 in June! Glad I found your channel.
your video is one of the only videos that I've seen on here that actually took into account price and that you can get it used! Thanks you this really helped me
Thank you for creating this video cause I'm currently 25 weeks pregnant and freaking out about everything and not knowing where to start with a registry
🙃 I want to thank you for talking at the speed you do. I tend to watch most videos on 1.25-1.5 because people talk so slowly and I don’t have time for that lol
I love you! You're so no bullshit, you don't say "Oh you NEED this $400 item no matter what" and you don't say that we need a million of things that only have one purpose that you might never use. You're clearly concerned about getting the most out of your money, which a lot of these other youtuber moms don't seem to be worried about. I am so thrifty and frugal on the little things, because I think your money should be spent on the larger, more important items. I'm glad I found your channel.
so glad you appreciate it! When I was going through the process myself for the first time all i had were the youtubers telling me to spend all my money and I unfortunately did lol. Glad I could sell a lot of facebook market!
This video is so humbling! I'm due in March and I definitely had moments where I was about to purchase something just for the name/look of it 😩I've had to return so many things because I just get carried away in all the cool, trendy things that other moms have across RUclips. Love that this list is super practical and doesn't break the bank!
Just wanted to mention that the UK seems to have different regulations on sleeping than the US. From what I have read they aren’t recommended to sleep in a pack and play type thing every day as the mattresses aren’t firm enough for their backs. Just worth noting as they are only intended for occasional use in the UK at least.
Lol I love when she does videos like these on what your baby really needs. You really don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars on things your baby will poop, pee, spit on etc and other things that were mentioned. I mean of course unless you want to. But really we got a pack and play with a changing table and napper. Looks great babies safe 🙃
I LOVEE THIS!! and I will be watching part two, but thank you for not recommending literally all of the more expensive items and providing some good alternatives, not everyone does that and its good to know that there are some good products out there without the huge price tag
This video answered so so many questions I have had. I have been so confused, especially about the car seat deal. My anxiety is gone 😅 thank you so much!
If $500+ is bought off your registry (which you will spend more than that on baby anyways), amazon will give you 20% off diapers for a year! I combine that with the 20% subscription, so I get 40% off my diapers total!!!
most pack n plays should come with one mattress and one crib sheet. So if you go for the pack n play it should at least now a days come with a lot of things for use. They are fantastic
I want to thank you for this. We have been going through it with fertility treatments and I basically stopped doing any research because we kept hearing no and I was bummed. I am 5 weeks along now! Super excited (and nervous! stay put baby!) and now I am starting to research and start making a registry again. THIS IS SO HELPFUL. I am a new baby mom (I have an 11 year old step daughter I got at 5 so I know nothing about babies) and I'm FREEKING out. Thank you thank you thank you
Thank you veeeeeeeery much for this video!! You’ve really put my mind at ease knowing it’s the simple things that really matters the most. Paying high priced is sometimes mainly for the design, but we would target much our babies be comfortable, than in style! This is really helpful. Thank you again 💕💕💕💕💕
Building my registry right now (baby girl due Dec) and I’m so glad I came across this series! Sooo helpful, I definitely removed/added quite a few things that I thought I absolutely need as a first time mom. Thank you! 💕
I just really want to say thank you for making these videos. I’m currently 28 weeks pregnant with my baby boy and trying to find everything he needs has been a challenge. I don’t have any family besides my husband as I grew up in a very toxic family so I have to get everything on my own without any advice as to what to get from other mothers. (My husbands mother is Korean and doesn’t speak any English as well as so many things have changed as far as what is considered safe, laying baby on the side, stomach, etc. so I can’t ask her about much) Trying to learn everything on my own and find out what he needs and what’s safe has been so stressful. Especially since I need to buy everything by myself I really don’t want to waste any money. Your videos have really really helped me keep a reasonable budget and feel more prepared. So thank you so so so much!!!
Bottle sterilizers are not for cleaning or washing the bottles. They just sterilize and then some dry them aswell. You always always wash (handwash or dishwasher) the bottles before putting them into the sterilizer.
Thank you so much for this video I’m a new mommy ❤️ only 9 weeks into my pregnancy but I definitely wanted to start looking for what I need. I am glad I found your page 📄
Thank you for sharing this information. I felt so clueless and scared to begin my registry for my first baby, but now I feel more prepared and at ease. Shout out to all the new moms including myself in 2021!!!!
There’s a baby car seat that actually turns into a stroller so need to buy a separate stroller just release the seat from the base in the car press a button the wheels come down and the handle extends best car seat hands down at least to me.
Hi Mai! Great video! I was wondering if you recommend a cover for the changing pad, or just use the changing pad as it comes with no cover? Also, would you recommend sheets for the pack and play? Thanks so much for your help!
Hi! Thank you for this amazingly helpful video! Quick question, can you link the adaptor for the City Select stroller to be compatible with the Graco 35 infant car seat? The adaptors are very intimidating and I'm worried I will buy the wrong item!
This will be my first/rainbow baby, I was excited and nervous to make a registry because I kinda already knew nobody would purchase anything since they didn’t respond to the baby shower invite so I canceled it, but still sent out the registry to “close friends and family” (Worth a try😛) and nobody purchased a thing other than my mom. I’m due end of August. I made up my mind and will not be letting anybody know when I do go into labor, announcing baby’s arrival or post about her. 🙃
I'm 22 and after five kids my mom still has her crib lml it was used for decoration over the years and now I'm having my own baby and I get to have a free crib
Thank you so much for your videos! You talked about high chairs but do you think booster seats or sit-me-up floor seats are necessary once babies are at that age to be able to sit up? If so, any recommendations?
Could you do a video for baby #2? Registry, necessities, etc. Any information I can get my hands on would be great! I know you have twins so I guess this would be technically #3 for you, lol. I'm due in July with my 2nd baby boy, my first is 16 mos. 😊 Love your videos, they're so helpful! ❤
I liked having a baby nest and used it for supervised time! However, it is definitely not necessary. I’m not sure let if I’m buying a crib yet, my parents have a portable one that I could use that is like the pack and play. I agree with with you on most things, you are very realistic about what is needed. It’s definitely nice to have some of the optional items but of course they aren’t necessary.
Wish this had been around a year ago when we were putting together a baby registry. Seems like all the ones I found had WAY too much stuff or were EXTREMELY minimalist. Something to consider though: We did go with a convertible car seat from day one. I figured that if we decided we wanted an infant car seat we could go get one (and I even had one sitting in my cart for pickup at Target when I went in to be induced), but we were going to need a convertible eventually anyway. NO REGRETS. By the time my little one started fully waking up when we got her out of her car seat, she would have been outgrowing an infant seat anyway, or at least been so heavy we wouldn't have wanted to add an extra 10 pounds of weight by carrying her around in the car seat.
This is so helpful, thank you! Im due in September with our first baby and have added/deleted soooo many things from our registry the past couple of months out of indecisiveness!
I’m due in September too! I have things on my registry that aren’t must haves and would be nice if someone got them. I’m not planning on buying everything on it after I get all the gifts.
The carseats that are detachable are usually really great, and are on Marketplace. I'm grabbing an inexpensive one on there, and when theres a sale i will be buying my 2nd daughter another 4EVER carseat. Woohoo! They grow so fast 😭
I am a Safe Kids certified car seat technician. Buy the seat that fits your budget, fits your car, and fits your baby height AND weight wise. Buy the seat that you can read the instructions on and understand fully. Buy the seat you can get a PERFECT install on EVERY time. If you’re unsure, have your car seat checked by a local CPST like me! I do recommend doing research about the seat you may want and seeking out a way to try before you buy. Make sure you’re confident using it properly before you find yourself in the place of needing it and hating it! Also bear in mind all the car seats on the market in the US must pass the exact same safety testing standards before being approved for sale. One seat is not necessarily “safer” than another simply based on price. The higher priced seats often just come with more convenience features and aesthetic than your typical budget seat. Infant carrier car seats unfortunately only last a short time, but they’re super convenient for the newborn stages when they’re little so you don’t have to wake them up to take them out of the car. Veteran mom of three (soon to be four) here as well. For my fourth baby, I decided to do the convertible 3 in 1 right away since I baby wear most of the time with my babies anyways. I am skipping the infant carrier personally this time since I hardly took it out of the car with my last three. Personal choice is totally a factor to consider, but I loved how you included the budget as a major deciding factor as well! I decided to skip it this time since I leave my infant carrier in the car anyways so I told myself “why spend extra on a seat you don’t use to it’s fullest potential?” 🤣
As somebody who is trying for baby #1 I hope you know how liberating it is to hear "you don't need to spend money on..."
Thanks for being real!
Happy to help ya save some money so hopefully you can splurge on something else you really want/need :)
@@MaiZimmyYAS!
It’s relieving to hear when you’re expecting your first, but was completely unplanned! It’s overwhelming!
"Baby won't know the difference" I love it, pride really gets you sometimes & you knocked some sense into this new momma ❣
They totally don’t know the difference and really don’t care! Veteran mom of three “soon to be four”. No shame in the thrift shop or Facebook marketplace game! Save yourself the dollars for something else amazing like a trip, or a fun experience for your family. The experiences are what kids remember most and not the objects they owned. Also saves our landfills from so much waste since we all are told to buy buy buy new things with all these ads we are exposed to. Our culture is so disposable and it’s sad. We really should all be passing on our used items that still have life left to give!
I love how realistic this is! I’m 24 weeks and have been putting off a registry because I had no idea where to start!

I’m expecting my first baby and I’m starting a registry. This is so unbelievably helpful, thank you so much.
Omggg you’re GOD GIVEN!!! I just started my baby registry last night & was freaking out not knowing what to get!!! Then this popped up 💜
I try lol 😇I was in your exact spot a few years ago, so I know the feeling!

There’s a baby car seat that actually turns into a stroller so need to buy a separate stroller just release the seat from the base in the car press a button the wheels come down and the handle extends best car seat hands down at least to me.
Thank you!! I'm a ftm and due in November. I love your channel.
Grandma deserves to know when you go into labor, she has proven that she cares by buying a gift.
I'm 22 and after five kids my mom still has her crib lml it was used for decoration over the years and now I'm having my own baby and I get to have a free crib
So helpful! And budget friendly!! Thanks for being real!
Thank you for making this video! The Amazon Assistant part blew my mind!! Had no idea that was a thing. Super helpful!
me: clueless

I have watched a million of these videos ands yours are definitely my favorites by far
I loved this video very informative 👏 I'm having baby #2 soon. Starting my registry with your help thank you!
Thank you for this video, It is very helpful for my husband and I for our first child.
Thank you so much for your videos!
You talked about high chairs but do you think booster seats or sit-me-up floor seats are necessary once babies are at that age to be able to sit up? If so, any recommendations?
I used to fill hot water after washing to sterilize
i cannot thank you enough for this. I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
3rd time mama to be here and I approve of nearly every recommendation here! Great video!
Great idea! I'll noodle that around and see what I can think of :)
Thank you! 😊
Thank you so much!!!!! You have brought now my anxiety from 10 to 5 lol
Glad it was helpful!
I’m due in September too! I have things on my registry that aren’t must haves and would be nice if someone got them. I’m not planning on buying everything on it after I get all the gifts.
Same! I’m due in September too and have added and deleted so many things 🤦🏻♀️
The carseats that are detachable are usually really great, and are on Marketplace. I'm grabbing an inexpensive one on there, and when theres a sale i will be buying my 2nd daughter another 4EVER carseat. Woohoo! They grow so fast 😭
God bless you 🙏
Thanks for the great info that saves a lot of time and money for newborn parents
Thank you for making these videos I am a soon to be new Mom and watching your videos has helped me so much!!!!!
I’m so glad I saw this video I’m a first time mom and I wanted to but everything for him
I am a Safe Kids certified car seat technician.
This is the best review video I've watched. And I've watched alot!! Thanks !
This is unbelievably helpful!
Thank you so much!
I just learned I’m expecting, and being an extreme planner, I’m wondering when do I start my registry?
Start it whenever you want. There’s no rules.
