Today on this long-needed update, we bring you Space Berserker, a 1993 rail shooter title by Pioneer LDC (thanks to Tom Porter, who was brave enough to slog through this). Alongside Pyramid Patrol and Hi-Roller Battle, this was one of the first games available on the Mega LD format...and boy, it shows. Coming in at a whopping 15 minutes of actual gameplay, Space Berserker is more akin to a demo than an actual game. The game that IS there is interesting enough - the gameplay is nearly identical to Pyramid Patrol, except for a lack of a charge shot (there are two different shot types, one for enemies and one for bullets) and the occasional quick-time event requiring the player to fire a torpedo on an enemy weak point. The CGI isn't on the level of Hyperion or later LaserActive titles, but it's not shabby, either. Overall, this would have given LaserActive owners a small taste of what to expect from the system... but, the bundled Pyramid Patrol would serve as a much better game!
We're moving slowly at the site, but we are moving...promise! On the to-do list is a recording of Hyperion, finishing the recording of Pyramid Patrol, gussying up the site, re-uploading soundtracks, and releasing some very hush-hush new video footage from Tom's archives...stay tuned!

13 min of actual game ? Really ?
Shouldn't you supposed to get more of it after spending too much money on the laseractive, the megald module and finally the game ?
For another day and another channel. I've been tempted to send my unit to Continue or another LP group, but nobody's expressed interest and I need mine for recording.
I won't mind you try to riff on some on these videos, MST3000 style.
A: How about transferring any of the 3d games to RUclips's 3d system.
B: Virtual Australia and Back to the Edo?
