- Using phpMyAdmin of the XXAMP system, a MYSQL database with several tables is exported to a text .sql file stored locally and the database destroyed. Next the database is recreated and the tables imported. The restoration is a way to archive against loss of data.
as a Zappa fanatic and a PHP mySQL novice I appreciate your video on several levels. thank you for posting.
Thanks Graham, I'm currently learning sql for the first time, you've just explained this procedure in an easy to follow tutorial - I'm using a different version of phpMyAdmin and still didn't have any trouble following it.
Graham... thanks a bunch.. this was extremely useful!!! Exactly what I needed.
Brilliant - Very useful thanks

I have accidentally closed the export process. Now the desktop app can not connect to the web db. What should be the problem?
+Romel Indemne Export it again. The connection may have failed on the import process on a different installation if you did not create the appropriate database in phpMyadmin.
Thank you for the response Sir, I appreciate it. I will try now hopefully this will fix the connection.
+Graham Roberts Nope, still having "Unable to connect to any of the specified MySQL hosts." Sir do you think this have something to do with the unfinished export? I really appreciate for any help. Thanks!
six minutes to explain this?
You are too cold
Good video but dude you seriously need to stop like the talking. You keep talking about things that dont matter or the "hm's" and "um's" or weird ups and down in your voice. Very distracting.
