Thanks for your review. Got my bar with the whiff box a couple days ago and on cold I don’t smell a lot of vanilla either. Going to warm it but we’ve been back up in the 90s again this week, like 95 yesterday and 97 today so it’s really hard to warm, some of the heavier fall sense with the central air conditioning going and going. Had a few cool days a week or so ago and I warm three of the new fall fragrances. Hoping next week will be better. I’m thinking I might need to mix it with a little very vanilla or the new Amber vanilla. Might try vanilla buttercream, but I am not much of a bakery person so I like the other two better. Love your videos and I’m with the person that says why are we getting so many element warmers, seem like we’ve had an overabundance this year.

Yesss I said some of the same things! I LOVE this bar..mostly because of all the mixing options!! I didn't think about mixing it with Dutch Apple Bread...I'll have to try that too!..oh and Ben is precious! 😍
Robyn, I love the little white pedestal you placed your fragrance flower on. I believe u said purchased on Amazon, but I can't find it. When u have a min, do you remember what it was called? Candle pedestal? Or candle stand? I've tried searching and can't seem to find any that look like yours. Thank you so much.
Hi Robyn! I agree with you in that I pick up hardly any vanilla in this scent. I was expecting something creamy, sweet, and nutty but was surprised how spiced and woodsy it is. I think its name is a little misleading lol. My nose does pick up a little spiced patchouli that reminds me of the spice notes in the BBMB Falling Leaves and the BBW candle Spiced Pumpkin & Patchouli. I actually like it, but can see how some people might be turned off by the spice/woodsy/almost masculine notes!
Your description of Vanilla Chestnut aligned exactly with mine. It's just okay. I agree. If it had more of that vanilla woods note, it would be really nice. My daughter smelled it and said, "It's nice, but it's not my favorite." I have yet to warm mine, though. I'm waiting closer to winter.

I prefer lighted warmers myself. However, when I get this one separately - not getting the kit-I will use it simply as decor, no wax, which is what I often do.

Based on your review, I will probably not be ordering Vanilla Chestnut. I like stronger and more complex scents. I love the backdrop to your video and the orange sweatshirt you are wearing all put together creates such a beautiful presentation. I occasionally watch other videos, but I would say 90% of the time I tune into you. Your nose seems to be very similar to mine, and I can depend on what you experience to be close to what I would experience. As for Ben, I agree with other people who have commented. He adds so much to the total picture of your life. Your videos make us feel like we know you and we are sitting in your home sipping coffee while you tell us about the scents we love. I say more exposure to Ben and maybe even a little themed scarf around his neck for the total picture🥰. I want to share with everyone the two scents I mixed yesterday to create what I think is a wonderful scent experience. As it gets colder, and everyone puts their flannel sheets and cozy blankets on their beds, try mixing Bonfire Beach and Pinkberry Sandalwood 1:1 in the same warmer in the bedroom before going to bed. I found it to be absolutely wonderful.🩶🩷

It was a rodeo LOL - he bucked around like a rodeo bull in circles, chewing at his neck. Got it off almost immediately and was shaking it around🤣.
None of my Chihuahuas will wear clothes either unfortunately because Chihuahuas are really fun to dress up! They all pout…..they get on the couch and turn away from me and won’t look at me! They seriously are dramatic dogs🤣

I do get a warm note that could lean a hint masculine - I think that’s the note that’s reading like dark spiced rum to me.
