I'm going crazy with this concert and specifically with this version of Philadelphia Freedom, but I just heard it now - the genial rhyme, how Elton sang this line, just listen to 3:48 - "I like living easy without family ties ..."
@@1091Floyd21 he hit the “magaZine” falsetto in 97 at New Orleans, and the Yellowbrick road phrasing at Atlanta 1997/winston Salem 97, and we all fall in loves falsetto too, and literally hundreds of more times

I love the electric piano intro from the 93-95 band performances. He should bring it back!

anyone know the band line up here?
At this time Bob Birch came in on the bass, stayed for 20 years, from 1992-2012.
Davey, Bob, Charlie Morgan Drums, Fred Mandel keyboards, the 3 ladies on back up
@@StuKuhlman Incorrect, Guy Babylon and Mark Taylor on keyboards (Fred left after 1990).
CASO RAFAEL MIGUEL
he turned into a baritone by this time.
there are perfomances after this that actually prove that wrong.
@ Matt Yolo - he hit one falsetto after this (in New York 1999 for 'Elton's Song', and that was it. So no, not really.
@@1091Floyd21 you're aware that he still does falsettos right?
He had falsetto into the mid-2000s, he just chose not to use it.
