Mavis, I am a Jamaican living in NY and have friends from there and a 8 family and friends decided to take a trip May 7th for her 60th birthday party in a Mayreau where she is from. My god the place is clean. There are no Stoplight in the city or horn blowing.Drivers know to stop and let pedestrians cross the street. we traveled all over and not one zinc fence or board house you don’t see there. Even the houses that the government built for the poor is 2 bedroom concrete house where they can add on to. For 8 days no one was begging anything. Beautiful homes and forget about the beautiful beaches. Water warm, blue and calm. They don’t harass you either when you go in the market or see people selling on sidewalks. They are very respectful. Jamaica could take a page out of their book. Can’t wait to go back. The Grenadines island are beautiful. Can’t wait to go back. I met the Prime Minister on the flight coming back to NY and I told him how beautiful his Country is and how We enjoyed ourselves. He was very pleasant and said we should come again. I sure will

As a child, I watched that supermarket grow into what it is now and walked those ales many times.... it brought tears to my eyes bec my dad is no longer here on earth to see his favorite place he adore so much.....
