This is so cool, Autumn! I just finished watching Jessie from Jessie’s Style’s video where she was talking about Prada that has (have) been making handbag dupes of other high end brands (e. g. Hermes, LV) for thousands of dollars. I made the comment that if I was going to buy a dupe of another brand’s silhouette, I wouldn’t spend that much on one. I’d get a Tiffany and Fred or Teddy Blake for hundreds or less. These DUYP dupes are so cute. Thanks for sharing. I’m about to check them out.

I bought the same bag in navy blue. Also not on my radar, Henri Bendel jetsetter backpack. I now own 3 after watching your video. I love them. I do not use them as backpacks, but i keep the staps in the huge side pockets just in case. Thank you. 😂😅

Autumn, please help! Can you make a video or just reply to my comment? I'm looking for brands that make handmade leather bags with Hermes-quality leathers, made in Italy, at a mid-tier price point. What started this obsession is The Row and the whole "quiet luxury" trend. All I want is an all-leather handmade tote bag for work with no logos. I want it to be the most luxurious to the touch. I really like the look of The Row's Park Tote Three (East West), but is that bag really worth $1900?
I've gotten to the point in my life (almost 50 years old) where I’m looking at the global impact of how I spend my money. I have designer bags from almost every luxury fashion house, and now I truly care about how and where the leather was sourced. What tanning process was used? Were the artisans paid a living wage? What’s the mission of the brand? What’s the global impact of the brand?
Of course, I still want all the superficial stuff too, like customer service and packaging, because let's be clear: the reason these companies go above and beyond with the latter is because they don't want us looking into the former. I know I gave you a lot to unpack, but I know you care about these issues too. Thank you.
