Very beautiful! I love how this turned so modern and minimal, sophisticated. Monochromatic and matching sets is my style. Lettuce hem is what I did to everything when I first learned to sew, lol.
Thank you!! 😊 Yes, that lettuce edge is so easy and cute.
G.
BRILLIANT on all, including the blue cloth top!!! CREATIVITY in real life!
It turned out great. That color looks good on you.
Yes! Angelina, I would LOVE to see more very simple fixes and edits such as this knit top and the scarf top. Thank you.
Yayyy! Thanks 💕
This was my thought:
“ what in the mind of a re cycler was she thinking buying this” ???
Then I said …………wait just a re cycling minute………🤔…….this is the re cycling whisperer……………
And O.M.GOODNESS…….
YES MY GOODNESS……
This looks ah mazing on you………..love what you did with the elastic thread…………..
I will never look at thrift knits the same again👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
🥰
😆 I know it was a hot mess at first. Thank you!!
THIS is really the only way to look good... Learn how to do alterations! WE NEED THIS CHANNEL ❤️❤️
You are amazing!! Thanks to you I'm sewing again after probably fifteen years! Love you!! You're such a strong woman!
Thank you!! 😊 I took a long break from sewing too.
@@BlueprintDIY Yay! Thanks for message!!
OMG that skirt is Units! I wore Units for years in the 80's and LOVED them. I am so jealous!
Looks great on you
It was nice to see a tutorial on small changes that make a difference in thrifted clothing. Sometimes you just want to wear the clothes, not have a big project! Thank you.
I agree! 🙌🏾
Ive been sewing... thrifting & upcycling for decades & still learn from you.....thanks
I catch myself smiling every time I watch your videos - so much energy, sincere, real and excited about what you love doing. It definitely gets me thinking what I could do to.
Thank you!! 😊
Angelina, love that energy girl. That top you have in fits like a glove and the color looks amazing on you! and girl.....you ARE VA VA VOOM!
Thank you!! 😊
Heeyy Angela... So I go online to look up remedy for diabetes - I gained 30 lbs this past 4 months. But I ended up on your channel and watched tons of stuff... My fabs: blazer peplum belt and blazer corset. I'd prefer my corset or peplum belt be tartan, but the cheapest blazer in my closet is black, from H&M. So I started with it. Thank you for the overlock review, I just ordered Brother through your list @ Amazon.
YESSS! She is expensive! I LOVE YOUR ENERGY! BLESSINGS!
Angelina is theee Designer that we get to see at work, sharing all of her glow-up designs w us! Those pieces bring it Angelina! Thank you Goddess 👏💕🔥
Thank you 💕🥰
Super easy. And something classy.
Just bought a serger, and this video has opened up a whole new knit universe to me!!! Liked/subscribed indeed!🤯
Thank you! Welcome to the BlueprintDIY family! 🤗
I LOVE a simple edit!!!🥰
Beautiful 😍😍
Great job.
Amazing! Every time i watch one of your videos, i make a tiny project. Thank you, you make altering and sewing feel so easy and accessible.
Yayyy! I'm so glad!! 😁 Thanks 💕
Thanks for sharing your styling talent and ingenuity with us!
Thank you 💕
I love love love this one. I want to add this kind of detail to a bunch of my stuff!!!
Sometimes simple is better love it
Banging!!! LOVE ❤️ it!!! 🥰
Thank you!! 😊💕
Hey! Just a little trick when cutting tight knits like this, use a pinking shear and fusing tape. They usually come 5/8 inch fold the raw edge and seam iron it down. ❤
Beautifully Made👌
You look Fabulous in these pieces 💃🏽
You are such a JOY! I love your enthusiasm! It turned out chic and expensive looking. No one would think that's a recycled outfit! No way!
You always do a great job!!! Could you do a bridal gown remake? Take an outdated dress and give it a modern hip vibe
I love it too. I do enjoy this because it gives us all a break from the more challenging projects. It i a confidence booster. It gives something to wear while you are masterminding a more daunting upcycle. Thank you again.
Agreed! 💕
This simple tutorial is super helpful for upcycle hopefuls like me!! Learning which styles require straight stitches, etc. are excellent places to start, so the more you share, the better for folks like me!! Thank you!! I already have some ideas with that simple ruffle stitch you did on the shirt!!
Yayyy! I'm so glad!! 😁
Wowzers! Awesome result!❤️
Ma’am, I enjoy ALL your upcycles but especially the simple ones like this. This 2- piece is amazing!
Good morning Angelina!!! Hey, knit is my best friend right now, your set turned out so cute!!! Hope you and your family are well, keep cool and I’m looking forward to the next video!!! Judy
Hey Judy! Thanks! We are doing our best to stay cool...😆 which means not much outside time.
So cool! Now I’m looking for matching sets and ribbed pieces. Thank you for showing us newbies how to create great looks.
That little embellishment on the top made it couture!
Yaas! It turned out so high-end!
I was really looking forward to this one!
Your transformations are always THE BEST! You give great ideas, thanks!
I did not think that was going to be ok and soooo good. Perfection. Thank you so much.
Thanks so much!
Very impressive, WELL DONE 👍👍👍👍
I just got a sewing machine, now to learn how to use and what to do with it. I know the choices are all mine. I'm so inspired by you.
Yay, I'm so glad! Congratulations 🎉
Excellent! I like awesomely simple 😊👍🏽
I am so impressed! Your knowledge AND design skills blow me away. Thank you so much for this inspiring video.
Amazing ideas, thanks for the tips. And you have such a nice energy! Loved it all.
Thanks so much! 🙏🏾
This turned out lovely. 💜
OMG!!! I accidentally discovered your amazing channel wee hours this morning. After watching back to back videos, I saw how brilliant you are as a designer and how informative and welcoming you are/your channel is. I put up my Brother cs6000i out of frustration several months ago, but your videos got me confident enough to pull it back out today and follow your tutorials. Thank you and God bless you!
New Subscriber✌
Yes I love it going to look for that kind of fabric , on my next good will shopping ,was afraid to use it not now thank you sis
Yayyy! I'm so glad!! 😁
I just found your channel and I have to say you are soooo inspiring!! What?? $3.50?? Nobody would EVER know!! So cool! Love it!!
Thanks so much!! 😁💕
Awesome... they separate sets it could b the mate for the skirt.. awesome girl
Love the transformation. I’m really interested in the top you are wearing in the videt
Simple yet (in)expensive 🥰 absolutely love this set!! I love Thrifting for two piece sets. In Atlanta, you may be able to find designer sets but usually it’s a bunch of old suit sets, but with amazing blazers with designs and embellishments, suit pants or skirts, and if you’re lucky: a matching top!! Just thrifted a yellow set and I want to upcycle it to fit me before classes start (but I probably won’t have it done by then lol. I literally move this Thursday)
Loved how it turned out❤️
You're so talented! Loved the alterations ❤
Thank you so much!!
Simple elegance! Love it!
Thank you!! 😊💕
Lady, this is everything! Ribbed pieces have always been favorites of mine not to mention classics. I have some ribbed pieces I have had for a long time, which have easily gone from day to evening in seconds; from work to a dinner party and even a church social. And, can we talk about the heels. I about died when I saw those and how they set off the outfit. Nothing like a good ankle strap heel to pull an incredible upcycle together. Beautiful job, Sis!
Thanks so much!! 💕🥰
@@BlueprintDIY. You're welcome!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 as always
😘😘😘love this to the highest power 👍🏽
That looks amazing. You do such great work. I want to learn to see because of you.
You look absolutely fantastic in that! Great idea with the top detail! So classy!
Fabulous!!! Love it!!!
I LOVED Units!!
I love the top your wearing! 😍
Cute cute cute I love that outfit on you. You are so amazing I'm inspired by what you do.
Thank you!! 😊💕
THIS IS SO GOOD! Agree, it's so sophisticated and chic.
Thank you 💕
Wow! I love it. It's gorgeous on you.
I have thread like that so now I'm going to try the same thing on some of my tees. It's very cool.
Thanks for sharing.😊
Very chic and flattering upcycles. This eggshell or cream monochromatic ensemble really works well for many occasions. It's definitely inspiring and I had to watch it several times.
Thank you!! 😊
Great job. The right shapewear ( bra and Spanx) is a must with any knit fabric. It will refine and smooth the whole look . Never skip out on the correct foundation. Love for the high desert 🏜 outside of Los Angeles. Subscribed.
Love it!
This looks great! Yes I would love to see more simple projects that I can try but I am gonna give the bookbag a try. I have a knit skirt suit that I will update and because I'm much older I will do the new finish on the hem of the top but not crop it and possibly the sleeves and add elastic or gathering up the side seems of the top
I really love your creativity in clothes...
N ur style....❣️
N i love you 😘❤️....
I'm from Nepal.....❣️
Thanks so much!! 😁💕
U r most welcome in my❤️
Wow you looked stunning in the two piece. 👍

Looks great! You look good in the scarf! Lol I know I couldn't pull that look off
More please!!! Love these simple ideas!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Inspirational for a beginner indeed. ☺️
My best design ever
That top is so cute! I never would have thought of bunching it like that and I haven't seen that before but it came out so nice! Wouldn't be surprised if that became a trend.
Really elegant
I love how this turned out 🥰🥰
I love simple... not too simple to share! You can totally add a brooch over top of the gathers on the top too for an interesting touch also! I have a skirt that I need to take in and going to do that today since you inspired me to fix it!
So nice I like how you did this it’s so Sophisticated from work to dinner yessssssss!!
Thanks so much!! 😁
Ribbed stuff is my favorite too!! It's just so comfy and classy 💜😁 you've inspired me to get a sowing machine ive always wanted one to fix my clothes I'm short so my torso is smaller and it's hard to find stuff that look good with my body style
Yayyy, I’m so glad!
Yes I. Love. It
1st time with you. I.enjoyed seeing you transform that gorgeous outfit. Looks very good on you.
Also that.top you have on.is the back simply made Thanks you

As always, nice idea Angelina, love from France 🇺🇸🇫🇷💝
Thank you!! 😊💕
love your videos & ideas.
I enjoy Your conversación very much😀 but I would love more tutorial on the how to do the sewing. Thank you so much
This turned out so gorgeous. I owned 1 knit outfit in my life and, that was in the 80's when they were in......
Notice I said only one 👎🏼
I’m loving it 😍 It‘s so elegant now! You‘re looking great 👍🏻
Thank you!! 😊💕
Love it!! So creative and I really appreciate how you made it work for your body type... thank you for the video ❤️
thank you 💕
Great look and colour ...perhaps a bit better undergarment for the skirt but wow!!
Loved it.
very chic...would you use the long pieces you trimmed from the side of the skirt to make a skinny scarf or...?
I wanted to use the scraps from both the top and skirt to make something, but I'm not sure yet.
@@BlueprintDIY a bag or little backpack just popped into my head....but, you'll think of something
This has given me soooo many ideas! Thank you!
Yayyy! I'm so glad!! 😁🙌🏾
You elevated this outfit to a whole new level👍❤😀
Thank you 💕
@@BlueprintDIY I am under 5ft tall and have very real problems with tops/straps being too long, I may attempt to do the lettuce hem on a few of my tops x
Ty, encouraging and easy enough, even for me, an absolute beginner. Much love ❤️ to you.
Yayyy! I'm so glad!! 😁💕
