Canadian wildfire season begins, will we see a repeat of 2023 in Western New York?

In June of 2023, if you were to stand and look out across Rochester from the Cobbs Hill Reservoir, the view was very different than what you might see today. As Rochester’s skyline was tinted at times an almost unearthly shade of orange as wildfire smoke from fires burning in Quebec covered much of the East Coast.

How did the fires start again after the winter? Did they stop during winter?

Canada never had a wildfire season until last year,and if you keep up with canadian news from about 2 nonths after it happened,you would know there was a many arrested for starting 23 of those fires.
