Vous êtes exceptionnellement douée et techniquement au sommet, et l'instrument mérite de figurer aux côtés des grands Cavaillé. Watched this three-part video of amazing technique and artistry again today and am still feeling stunned, is there a god, what am I doing with my life, etc. I love the organ and choices of registration and most of all the stunning performance.

Complimenti LIDIA ; già conoscevo molto bene questa musica prima ; ma eseguito a questa velocità sembra un turbine completo. Sono maestri di questo tipo che mancano nel Conservatorio di Roma e in genere nei Conservatori italiani. Liszt componendo questo brano ha semplicemente richiamato in servizio tutta la sua tecnica di scale scale cromatiche di ogni tipo arpeggi e quant'altro.
Sebastian Kuechler Blessing è un'altro organista tedesco che giovanissimo ha eseguito questa composizione a memoria ma un pò più lentamente. Si trova su you tube.
Impressive performance by a very accomplished organist. Excellent organ as well but watching her makes me think that outside of the electric blower the combination piston is the greatest development in organ technology.
It's simply the case that the manuals (keyboards) stops are coupled to the Pedal. So by playing the pedal the manual keys will be depressed at the same time.
At this viewing angle, I was sure I was watching an extremely talented 12 year old who could barely reach the pedals. I won't spoil it for anyone by mentioning her real age.
+robert shaw I'd say very good at any age; she was 35 when this was recorded. Videos showing her in side-view reveal her small stature. For someone who doesn't have the reach of, say, Frederick Swann, she does a heroic job on the pedals.

First she reads the music. Then plays it through several time. Then commits it to memory and - bingo. This is the result. Similar to martial arts - practice makes perfect.
