I got Monster Squad from Kino Lorber and from Shout recently I got Big Trouble in Little China.
Nice pickups. I’d like to get my hands on that Monster Squad eventually. I’ve never seen Big Trouble, but it seems like one I might like.
Nice catches. It is hard for me to watch animals or kids in peril any more so no on Watership and Plague Dogs for me. I have a Shout Select Blu Ray of John Landis’ “Into the Night” that I like quite a bit. I also love Shout’s tv comedy dvd’s like Ernie Kovacs and Sid Caesar. At the end of the day, I collect randomly and eclectically according to what I’m in the mood for. 🤷♂️😉
Nice shirt! If only it came in 4K. Also need Seinfeld in 4K how has that not even got a Bluray release?!! 🤔🤔 I feel like that would be a good video no one talks about shows on physical media. Top 10 shows that need a 4K release
Shout Select went crazy at the end of last year-Point Break, JFK, Fargo, Clue, The Man in the Iron Mask and more on 4K! I grabbed all the ones I wanted, except for Clue! I missed that one at Best Buy and figured I’d need to pick it up with a slipcover on eBay at a stupid price. But seeing you get yours with a slip has me wanting to buy now.
Great haul! Happy you were able to get your hands on The Plague Dogs.
I saw watership down and i was horrified by it and in finland it was pcked in kids box set it was rated 3+

Anyway, first I was wanting to let you know if you didn't hear already, that Criterion is having a flash sale on their Eclipse sets. 40 percent off. And secondly, do you already have the Second Run of Beauty and the Beast? I just got it and while I haven't watched it yet, I did skim through it and it looks right up your alley. I got it from Orbit for only 21 bucks.

I watched FARGO last night, not sure that the 4K added much (but of course it just might be my setup). Brilliant film nonetheless
I had the same impression. I read it was a huuuuge leap from the blu ray but I didn't notice it.
I didn’t notice too much, but we watched it in the living room on a smaller TV (65”). I may have noticed more if we had watched it downstairs in the theater. Still an great film though like you said. One of my favorites.
@@FilmsByColor 65 is small?? Mine is 65 and I think it's huge! I wish I had a cinema at home! Anyway, if a 4k transfer needs a theater screen to be noticed, it is useless.
@@brunomachado7279 65” isn’t small, just smaller than the theater setup. I’ve heard you have to get to around 75-80” to notice differences in 4K transfers. At least details. Obviously colors and contrast would be noticeable.
I love Fargo and will definitely upgrade but I wonder if the fact that so much of it is white snow makes the upgrade less noticeable?
Shout has some of the worst 4k remasters I have ever seen.
