You can tell Kayla protects her sister a lot. I think the sister is hurting because she was touched and takes it out on the mom a lot physically! If you notice every time the sister talks the one in the pink tries to calm her down or even touches her hands so she doesn’t get out of character. They need counseling

The Mother wants what she’s done to them swept under the rug and forgotten about. She tries to blame everyone else for her wrong doings. She blames the state and saying they had it out for her and she’s the victim, but she was an addict and chose drugs, yet she’s saying she it wasn’t her fault? I know that CPS has done wrong to families, but she was an addict and couldn’t get her life together and she didn’t do what she was suppose to do to get them back. She thinks she’s the victim and everyone else is a villain. I get the kids feelings and have been in their shoes. She won’t change and you can see it by her behavior. She got right up and left w out even trying to hug or say a sincere apology. The girls are angry and don’t respect her because she doesn’t respect them. I don’t feel bad for the Mother because she reaped what she sowed. She’s made no attempt to go to therapy and repair relationships. She thinks their adults and the past doesn’t count. It’s all over her face. She called them monsters and felt not one once of shake in it. She’s mad their calling her out and wanting her to fix what she broke and she can’t do that because once again, she’s the victim and no one else is. You can’t change until you face reality and except what you’ve done and grow from it. Sorry for my rant I’ve been there and it’s a horrible feeling.
The mom at the end is fed up too. She needs to heal first then she will willingly go to her daughters and apologize and make amends. I hope and pray that she does it sooner than later
