I am from Serbia - Belgrade, a neighboring country of Bulgaria, I have been coming to Sunchchev Breg for 24 years! 3 years ago I bought 2 apartments in SB! I am a lawyer - and my clients, on my advice, have bought - at least - 10 more houses or apartments in SB. I love this place!
Hi guys yes you can really see the effort that you put in to the video ❤ frances and myself sit in anticipation waiting for your videos 😅 thank God we bought an apartment last year 🎉🎉 so now we can just enjoy 🤜🤛
Wow - so many construction cranes all over Sunny Beach! Lots of investment money flowing into the area - that's for sure. We are seeing the same here in Mazatlán. Great video and always nice to see you guys.😉😊💓
Looks like they are trying to extended the season in 2025. Have noticed that several hotels are still open well into mid/ end October 2025. Most hotels last day you could book 2024 was end September/ First few days October
They won't have enough guests to stay open, people after September are shunted into the odd open one , this year we had a few go till mid October but all inclusive as nothing opens round them.
One of the things I don't like in Bulgaria, and especially in Sunny Beach, is the spaces between hotels or between apartment blocks which are often left unmaintained and often places for construction waste that no one cleans up. Between the hotels on the second and third line there are often neglected areas, weeds, waste, and it seems like no one maintains good green areas outside the boundaries of their hotel. But other than that Sunny is fantastic destination. Thanks again for the wonderful video, it does make my days away from the sea much brighter and filled with expectations for the new summer season.
@@LindenButters It is nothing compared to the big tourist spots of Europe, it is still very small. Outside the resort the coast is very empty and hopefully it doesn't spread like a blight that has hit other countries. We need to get away from too many of the all inclusive holiday hotels to more apartments where people spend money improving the life of locals.
I think the long stretch of the Sunny beach area needs to change:- 1. Ban any small retail units on the sandy beach side of the promenade,as they block the seaviews for walkers/joggers etc! 2. Modernise/Digitalise your coach station (like the ones in Varna/Burgas) 3. Hotels should keep open all year, not so much for tourist accomodation, but for day visitors who want a meal/drink in the main restraunt area! Again, the area is losing out on a lot of annual economic growth by not changing! P.s. glad they refurbished the jetty!
It's run by sunny beach plc not a municipality so they don't get the investment here. People want a beach , sunbathing and the sea, a short season for that, based on flights it stops end of september as airlines won't fly unless plane is full. Hotels could open, few guests and go broke fast but the staff move to the ski resorts in the winter.
They are not cheap now having doubled in two years. The one beds on the Harmony Suites Premium we showed start at 100k euro, Yes they won't rise to levels of warmer places with longer seasons. With higher investment in infrastructure they could be a lot more so prefer it stays as it is , affordable.
How is it to live there all year? I know most people who work there in season lives in Burgas and surrounding villages. It looks very deserted. And is Janet open?
All the main supermarkets are open, big Janet was rammed a couple of days ago. It's quiet in the resort and villages but we don't need a dozens of bars or restaurants all year as we live a normal life as such here being happy at our home. We have our local places to when we are out same as anywhere else. Wouldn't want to live in a year round tourist area, traffic, noise, people it's the emptiness of Bulgaria that's it's biggest asset.
@sunnybeachlife5860 thank you for your answer. Im considering moving there myself but will wait to see how the transition to Euro will fold out in terms of prices etc.

Are you coming over to Bulgaria looking at property in 2025, a holiday home by the beach or a new home like we did? Please comment and let us know.
Just a regular 2 week holiday. Can't wait to see all again. Good thing I'll know the area better then than when I first visited last summer haha!
@@alexikonen3418 We have our favorite places to go, its great when the staff come back for the season.
2 weeks in June again for some warm weather walking and seeing everything when it's open staying at Ivana palace again
And maybe try and find out how people get jobs in Bulgaria as there s no job centres etc in Bulgaria
@@jimzelenskyy1809 There are many agencies online advertising here for workers but mostly you need some local language of course.

P.S. Dragan - "сопственик на апартамети" у Sunney Beach
Love being an owner, changed our lives 8 years ago and love the country more now.
Another great video uncle Andrew also great to see Chris flying around ❤

First! I love to see how the area develops. Google Maps doesn't update that often😅
It changes years and seasons as you turn a corner. We have walked a lot of the resort on wet evenings back in UK before moving here.

Lots of the spaces are going, many are becoming car parking as that seems a growth business here.
I'm not so keen on over development. This built up scene puts me off tbh.

@sunnybeachlife5860 I seen a lot flying to Burgas from London Luton (Wizzair) the other week,so flights still go all year round!
@@garymacdonald7165 Wizz are scheduled all year round, good to know we can get back to the UK with a local airport
Great video. Can you rent an apartment in sunny beach during the winter months? If so how much per month are they renting out for?
We see studio apartments between 200 to 300 euro for long term winter rental advertised on the Facebook groups here.
Do you think that generally the price of apartments is reflected in the fact the resort is closed for 6 months of the year?

I live in New Zealand and I speak Bulgarian. Would I be able to find a job in sunny beach during the summer period?
Plenty of work here, bars and hotels have signs up for staff
Just curious. Are the majority of the construction workers Bulgarians do you think?
Most we meet are Bulgarian.

Prices have risen sharply last couple of years. A good choice to be here.
