If you like electric cars there is the renault Scenic full electric that's coming, it looks gorgeous but the price is (of course) a bit more than the megan

The car is absolutely beutiful both on the inside and outside, however small advice from me. If you are planning on buying it just join few forums for the car. You will change your mind quickly. For the short life they had they have had absolutely insane amount if both software and mechanical issues.

Pity about the 20-inch wheels. If the poor ride quality was not bad enough, they also look dirty being that break-dust colour
I like this car but is overpriced. Ultimately the French cannot complete with the Germans and so should consider that when pricing. Look at the 2nd hand values.
Germans can’t compete either, it’s Tesla or the Chinese
Have you actually looked at new car pricing recently? These are considerably cheaper than the likes of Audi, BMW and Mercedes.
The quality is absolutely matched too. I can assure you that cars like this will tempt a lot of people who swear by german manufacturers. I'm getting rid of my high spec 2021 Audi A5 and my top spec Renault Austral will hopefully arrive in a few weeks.
Where the Austral falls short is engine options. If you were to try and match the tech, assistance and comfort options on a german auto you'd be looking at twice the price and you still wouldn't be able to match the options.
You'd change your mind if you drove or sat in one, its got a really nice cockpit, so to speak, much like the higher models of Audi etc.

@@bardz0sz Look at the sales of cars. Tesla had to reduce the cost of their cars. Athe Germans are doing just fine
@_leonroy You obviously missed my first sentence. I have owned several Renaults and Citroëns. My current car is a Peugeot 5008 GT Preemium. I prefer French cars. However, I am a realist and their resale value is not as good as German cars as you will find out. PS I have never owned a German car.
