I built on #3! I stuck my fish in the waterfall, main base in the lower platform, greenhouse and flyers on the upper platform, and water creatures in the pond!
There's not metal real close, but it hasn't mattered with all the unwanted metal behemoth gates I keep getting in drops. Also metal farming with tek gear is easy. Don't even need the anky anymore :)
The only thing I don't like about building near the waterfalls is the constant noise but good list
the sounds of waterfalls are fucking irritating they're too louder
There are a bunch of silent waterfalls in Genesis 2.
I personally chose 70/90. Nice size lake, deep enough for my Tuso. Plenty of metal and obsidian. The best part, off to the side and out of the way of everyone else. 🤘
The best base location is the Tek box near the Tek trench, where you just cover it with behemoth gates and it’s already a nice enclosed base
can't wait to check these out once i finish my story playthrough! Your story content was v inspirational and im on track to legitimately ascend for the first time :)

You didn’t mention the hangars on the side of the tek structure that holds the plant species x seeds. You have 6 big slots in the side opposite the 2 waterfalls. They’re perfect for your dino storage needs let alone make decent base areas. Just not suitable for green house, apparently green house effect requires direct sunlight. Just sink foundations into the floor so nothing starts meshing through. Tek trench area acts up on console a bit.
I built on 3 and it’s perfect imo. Was even able tin build from the bridge down to the flat area
Great choices, 3/5 of these were claimed as soon as your cluster had Gen2 up!
I build on 3 and it’s great cuz u can make a water pen and have a few mosa/tuso if u want

I built my base right there, but inside. I take up the scenic view almost back to half the distance of the cave ...........so far

My main base is not far from yours. Picked a random spot not realizing how close I am to resources.
I've actually built my very first Tek Base in that underwater location. It's such a stunning and well hidden place.

@@kermitreturnz Yeah. Logging out, then back in again. Or leaving the world and coming back. This bug seems to have appeared after they made Mantis breedable.

the underwater base is realy bad to build in , it looks amazing , but as soon as you turn on something burning or something sound effect and your ears will get destroyed
you cant even stay near tour grill cooking meat , you have to move to almost the other side of that base for your ears to stop crying
