- Attorneys for Blakey Lively and Justin Baldoni were in federal court Monday for a pretrial conferencing hearing. Lively is suing Baldoni, citing claims of sexual harassment, retaliation, negligence, and emotional distress on set their recent film together, "It Ends With Us." Baldoni filed a $400 million countersuit accusing Lively of extortion, defamation, and false light invasion of privacy. Law&Crime’s Elizabeth Millner was inside the courtroom and has the latest development from the hearing.

Your "on site" reporter seems really confused. Ryan Reynolds is a pivotal part of the story and a cursory look at the texts has lengthy communication between Ryan and Justin. Ryan was at the meeting and yelled at Justin. Your reporter seems to say Ryan was dragged into the case by Justin when it was the opposite. Ryan interjected himself into situation early and to the point that podcasters are talking about his role.

Maximum Effort was actually the marketing strategy behind the movie promotion not Sony, as Blake tried to accuse them and clear herself of their tone deaf take on how to promote the movie. That puts him squarely in the middle of this lawsuit. Not to mention everything that happened during the filming.

Ryan Reynolds MADE HIMSELF a part of the movie by 'rewriting' the balcony scene(during the writers strike which makes him a scab), which means he is a part of this, Ryan Reynolds also actively harassed and bullied Baldoni and created bizarre promotional videos and actively engaged in promotions with his wife. Reynolds certainly DID insert himself into the movie and appeared on set and behind the scenes. Reynolds made it clear he was taking over the movie along with Blake and Taylor Swift(Dragons).Very Poor reporting.This reporter on scene just babbles about nothing there are many, many, many facts that dispute Blakes claims.

if anyone hasn't seen the released documents and screenshots, they definitely should (including you Jesse, sorry, you seem kinda biased).. You can clearly tell Lively's behavior was blackmailing, including to get the title producer which no one wanted to give to her until she practically forced them to, forced the literal director of the movie to be removed from the premiere of his own movie, made him stay in a BASEMENT on the premiere, was asking for dailies which no one wanted to give to her (so she can start doing her own cuts of the movie), refused to follow her contract unless her cuts were used, or she chose her own outfits and many, many more things on the documents. Lively is not innocent

Alledgedly Blake said they would do it for free because it was family "mafia style" but I don't think that was the case in the end. He is very much included in this.

Yes so he wasn’t officially included in the movie but he obviously had a lot to do with it as Blake revealed that they are in each others movies and creative endeavors and his company Maximum Effort, not Sony, was the reason why they went for florals and non- DV route like Blake tried to claim in her lawsuit. so this is squarely on their shoulders for the marketing strategy plan that was so offputting to the public, and completely derailed her career, and brought out all of the old nasty videos of her personality.
