Modular scenery sounds like a lot of fun to play around with. It's like legos, but higher detail and without the little bumps all over.

As someone who (heavily) backed season 1 and 2, this is going to be another huge MUST for me. I haven’t had much time to paint, but managed to put together about a 24 x 24 set up with a handful of the scatter pieces that come as stretch goals, some warhammer objective scatter, etc and it looks AMAZING.
As a bonus, I may have a pre-built room or two that serve as dioramas for any newly painted minis that I want to take pictures of ;-)
dnd twice a week sounds like paradise, I can just about get one session every two weeks

I think you might have gotten lucky with your set! Mine did feel a bit brittle and I am glad this wasn't the final version. The grey pieces felt perfect and I can only hope the final version of the translucent stuff is as nice as that. The tiny bricks I LOVE because it's so in scale and they are all at different depths so you can easily do 3 dry brushes and get 3 different tones on the bricks! It's made for speed painting! Excellent review considering how little time you had for this! Great job! I am really excited about the stacking pieces coming out. This will make making quick building a snap!
y'know, it may have been out of necessity due to time constraints...but nevertheless, I actually quite liked how you just quickly clipped it out and snapped it together like that - that's quite an effective review point really, as it shows that it can be functionally "ready to go" really bloody quickly, and with very minimal effort
Now even though I've always and almost certainly will always play TTRPGs online I'd totally get terrain like this just to have it in a display vitrine as backdrop for my miniatures. Hopefully these guys start selling this sort of stuff just regularly outside of kickstarter at some point because when I eventually do get the vitrine sorted and all that I'd absolutely love to have this stuff for it.

To me, Archon is one of the best companies out there right now. They are serious, listen to their costumers, and are cheap while having really good details

Seems that clear plastic for the water looks an awful lot like the better clear plastics that Bandai uses for their model kits which are suitably durable to my experience.
So something better than that for the final product sounds amazing

Backed both of their other two and an still building at them and have backed the third. This stuff just covers so much for roleplay and wargaming that it if quickly becoming my go to source for terrain.
Next one is sci fi. Compare that to the crap necron terrain (barrels) from Gw in terms of quality, price and durability

@@Kira-Namida It is. I backed 2nd edition and I got 1st edition stretch goals as well. Everything from scanners, holograms, portals,robot arms, cryo chambers, wall fans, spider drones, mini reactors, alien spawn, and lots more. I have seen the sci fi room used to create a space hulk. There is even a xeno dragon as you know. Backing 3rd now.

24 inches across for basic pledge. Compared to the age of Sigmar mausoleum it takes less space to store. More robust and definitely more adaptable.
It comes apart and can be stored flat. The stretch goals are a box on their own.
Got the 8 dragons in the last KS and they went together like an absolute dream! Super impressed.

Maybe not fitting character folders, but you can be sure it'd all fit for A skirmish miniatures game :D

I just got the Dungeons & Lasers II kickstarter this week, top quality stuff (I did the sci-fi range), if I had the funds I'd back woodhaven too.

This looks amazing, however I have enough of a backlog, I don't really have time to start on terrain.
Wow. I want to get back to twice a week myself. 😩 I use Dwarven forge terrain. I've got a couple videos myself on some of my stuff.
This may have pushed me into backing them for far too much money. But TBF the Kingdom Pledge is tasty.

Worth nothing that there is also Sci-Fi terrain from their previous projects (hopefully available to buy once the workforce gets back on its feet) and Rampart (a different but also modular terrain system from pre-D&L).
The dream is to one day play dnd twice a week with a group of riends with good modular terrain like this.
