First thanks for your reactions, IU is a phenomenon, her discography is bigger that the encyclopedia Britannica. 80+ self composed songs, over 130 songs, winner of everything there's to win. But up until last year she never showed to much interest in coming to the west. She can act, sing, play, compose and certainly helps people a lot. She knowns what poverty is and what losing loved ones to suicide, Has sang for high school graduation of fans, friend's weddings etc. the list goes on and on. If I ever meet an angel I expect it be like looking to IU.
She is in her 16th year + in the entertainment business and still going strong. That many years experience and she still look so young huh? Some people might even think shes still barely an adult. She is 30 years old now but already at the pinnacle of her career in her 20s already. Since she started out as a minor. One of the top vocalist of south korea. She is very powerful and influential in the entertainment business. She is now a super successful actress and is in the list of one of the top richest celebrity in south korea because of being the top of her career in singing and acting.

Whenever I see IU dance now it reminds of the Jay Park palette episode where she says "I am also a dancing singer," and Jay just starts giggling. She is cute and adorable to even comprehend fully.
That last video. IU's got her own interview channel that big name talent comes on. One feature is she sings a cover of the guest artist's song live. When she covered a Shinee song she said she stayed up all the previous night laying down thirty vocal tracks just for the background harmonies.
JYP staff/producer turn down IU and't didn't pick her as a trainee, JYP himself was so regretful of that :) Now she is one of the biggest vocalist ever. But thats life, If jyp would pick her to be in a girl group, IU wouldn't be who she is now.
Rolling Stone Magazine added her to their list of the Greatest Singers of All Time last January. She debuted in 2008 at the age of 15. As good as her MV's are she is even better live.
