Many years ago, while visiting Rome, I bought 'Amadeus', an Italian music magazine, which offered a free CD. The magazine's issue had Francesco Romano's recording of Sylvius Weiss lute music on the CD. I had never heard of Weiss but immediately became hooked. I have since built up a large collection of Weiss recordings, and owe Sig. Romano a huge debt of gratitude for having introduced me to the wonderful world of Weiss' lute music. Grazie mille, Francesco!
The sound of fingers sliding over the strings is like breathing. What a beautiful recording.
So that's what that sound is

The same way I "met" Weiss' works and Francesco Romano's playing 🩵 ...and I have recommended that CD to millions of friends of mine.
RUclips demonstrates that lasting beauty, talent and skill are unpopular. Aliens would be baffled how the best of human creativity is largely ignored.
Magiques accords entre vivacité de la danse et audaces musicales presque improvisées!
Красота бессмертна ! )))
Fine playing. Glad this appeared in my feed.
Benissimo!

Of course a quote like that would come out of SSPV XD
Muy buena técnica por parte del intérprete; la obra carece de inspiracion pero no tiene por eso menos mérito.
