- Hi guys! Today you can see how to make doop kit, toiletry bag. Its mini bags for some things. I make dopp kit from leather (chemical tanning). Leather craft is my hooby and i try make some interesting leather goods. I do some things with saddle stitch, other things I do with a sewing machine. Dopp kit or toiletry bag is a useful thing that you need to travel. This leather bag is also a great gift.
I use metric system. All sizes of patterns you can see on video. If you have questions please write in comments.

@@alexbalabushka На самом деле всё зависит от поставленной задачи. Например, сейчас я понимаю, что мне бы удобней было бы взять колонковую сирубу где -то за 1000 долларов или найти из старых машины типа Пфаф где-то за 1000 - 1500

Good tutorial but there is one small flaw and one fatal flaw. If you don’t add zipper stops or sew the zipper closed on the ends you will eventually end up with busted zipper that can’t be closed, it’s really only a matter of time not if it will happen. The other flaw is more subjective, if you were to try to batch these out you would want to make the boxing cuts before hand. That said if you are only making one or two it might make sense to cut them the way he does since it makes for easier alignment of the seams.

Do you mean the tabs near the zipper (which cover the zipper?)

Side strap for the bag wich I am doing on the video (width 3.5 cm, length 12.5-13 cm). I gave a small bag to a friend and I did not have patterns.

Thanks for your question. I used chrome tanned leather with pull-up effect (amber color) Turkish production. My sewing machine is Typical GC0303

Why do you use 4cm corners vs 5cm or 3cm? Is it a ratio of the size of the bag or something else?

What kind of glue is it you use? Does it go by several names?
I using glue for shoes industry. Glue name's Boterm Bonikol GTA (made in Poland). You can use any glue that is suitable for working with the leather.
