      If it’s equal to 1.200 nits, i think it’s quite bright. Samsung QN90B, which is one of the brightest televisions gives around 640 nits in 100% window continously. So, 1.200 nits of brightness is great.

    • @tbob2224
      @tbob2224 Год назад +8

      @@PurgetheHeretic666 The brightness is going to depend on the screen size and color of the screen (white, grey, ALR, etc).
      Don't be fooled though, 100 nits is VERY bright in a dark room at say 120". Commercial cinemas are generally under 50 nits but they look brighter due to the size and amount of light.
      The bigger issue with these DLP projectors is the contrast which for this specific model is about 1500:1 native or ~3000:1 dynamic (think a bit better than an IPS gaming monitor, but not in the same league as FALD, Mini LED, or OLED).

    The comparison with a OLED is interesting. For the same price as the projector you can get a very good old LG
    This makes me reconsider my choice of the X2 4K instead of a TV, but what tipped the balance in favor of the projector is that it's small, easy to move and store, whereas a TV is a big object (you need room).

    Let's face it. Projectors ARE great and eye friendly. BUT the bulb lifetime is HORRRRRRIBLE. You get, at the maximum, about 120 days of gaming nonstop. If you combine this with other usage the bulb will need to be replaced in about a year BUT you have to be able to buy them for your respective system which, over time, is not guaranteed. So get them beforehand and calculate that into the price.

    So just to clarify i heard you say 2 hdmi 2.0 ports so no hdmi 2.1 any idea if that might be added in a later revision i feel like since its designed for xbox thats a bit of a miss

    • @GeekStreet
      @GeekStreet  Год назад

      Yes just hdmi 2.0, there may be a future hdmi 2.1 version but I recon price wise it my be double the price

    • @TruRacer

      @GeekStreet yeah and I watched full video saw that it can do 120 fps on lower resolution and that's fine for me I mostly Plat racing games so fps is more important than resolution so I think I will be looking at getting 1 in the future

    view sonic vs benq x3000i comparison. every time i paused it, i saw double images on the view sonic. meaning that the benq is putting out more frames. it's a better viewing experience, especially if you play games or watch sports..... (or maybe the camera's recording lense is out of sync.)

      It's not just the hdmi limitation, they both use TI DLP chips with pixel shifting which can't do 4k120.

    You need to get a real sim racing game to play with that direct drive wheel. There is no point in having that and playing forza. You are missing so much force feedback that an actual sim has. Although sim racing on a projector seems like a bad idea an yway
