Nice video! From my experience is much more difficult to play a complex song by ear than composing a complicated song! Watchtower were the band that made me want to play guitar 32 years ago. At the age of 14, without digital audio and internet it was just impossible to learn this songs, before the venial was damaged... fast forward, Very nice song, complex playing but its always easy for the composer :)
Not too many people know about this band ... Good job ... I was in a band in the eighties and we used to play this.... Long time ago..... Then Dream Theatre came out with their first album.... Good times .... Damn good job buddy....
Wow dude, you rock. This is my favorite Watchtower songs. Such a great example of Doug Keyser's insane skills. And you nailed it. Also, are those X2N pickups on your bass?
Thank you very much! Doug Keyser is a big influence. Rick Colaluca, too. Maybe even more so because of his weird and very randomly calculated (if there can be such a thing) rhythms ☺ The pickups are what was on it when I bought it, 2 x Dyna Rail 1025HB/N Alnico 5. It's a Hagström HB-8, 8-string. Too hard for me to play fast and clean with 8 strings so I removed 4 for this ☺
One of my favorite watchtower songs. Bravo

Great job. This is an enormously difficult song to play I think, well done.
Thank you! Yeah, why did I choose the longest song? :-P It was a bitch to learn, but well worth it :-) Cheers!
