I’m pretty sure aira could only see her, meaning her dad probably assumed she seen a lady in the distance or was just having childish imaginations. At this point acro silky has just died and is trying to remember what she lost as aira confronts her at the same time thinking this random lady would be her mother.
@ makes sense, but episode had very little indications of some events like her falling off from the building so I was very confused first time watching it
@ yea I personally don’t like how they did that in the anime because in the manga it shows her actually jumping from the roof and you see the building she jumps from, but in the anime it could be easily misinterpreted as her dancing in the afterlife where some people thought she bled out and died, then again her story is meant to be a silent slideshow so I wish they could’ve made that scene where she jumps more clear.
she was dead by that point, the dad didnt see her, its very well among the occult beliefs that some animals as well as children tend to be able to see spirits easier because of their pure hearts, Aira was able to see her for what she was and thought it was her mother, Silky found herself recognized and remembered her daughter, the dad never recognizes the woman, he only tells Aira "She shouldnt go away on her own" instead of the usual stranger danger talk, these beliefs ring even more true when you consider this is Japan, which has tons of occultism in its culture and its also one of the main focus of the setting. At least thats how I understood that.
Not gonna lie , this backstory anime adaptation is just better than most one piece backstory anime adaptations. Now only the kuma backstory anime adaptation can give competition to this. And im not comparing the stories ,just the adaptation
please, dandadan doesn't even compare to one piece. This mid ahh average demon slayer feel bad for the antagonist backstory is nothing compared to Chopper's, Noland's and Robin's backstory. while writing this comment I just read your "and im not comparing the stories, just the adaptation" so uh... fair I guess.
@@vainxchessoh god this is such a cringe take, people have different tastes and arguing that your show is better is just being childish. I love One Piece, but I have friends that find it trash, and they aren't wrong in what they feel. But they would be children if they ran around and told me that, just like you are now.
@@arbitraryify So if I have and share my own opinion, I'm a child? I believe that just because its adapted well or beautifully animated, it doesn't make it good. I don't find this backstory to be better than most one piece backstories, but I can agree that it was adapted perfectly.
When I was watching the episode I was wondering if you'd feel compelled to make a video on it because the animation took a big step up compared to the previous ones.
My god what an episode... I'm literally speechless.
I cried like a baby bro 😭😭
Kuma's backstory would be the most tragic thing ever if it was well adapted
JASONNNNN

What a Masterpiece
Why did the girl thought heavily wounded-dirty women was her mom and why was her dad so calm after she hugged a Bloody Mary looking women

Only aira saw her spirit, you can tell because how the father wasn't even fully coloured, it was to isolate the 2 where no one else can see

I honestly never imagined I'd make a video for it, considering I had different plans, but here I am lol
