Cedar Falls ~ Mazama (Hiking Trails in Washington)

This short hike leads to an impressive two-tiered waterfall. It's hard to get good photos of the tiers, especially the lower falls, because the creek is surrounded by treacherous cliffs.
The Cedar Creek Fire swept through the area in 2021 and the entire trail is now a walk through a burned-out forest. But the wildflowers that are springing up are amazing. The glacier lilies covered the hillsides along the entire trail. And many other flowers and shrubbery are making a quick come-back.
