I tought that was how support material already worked, The effort it took to remove it looked the same as with normal support , also, isn't there dissolvable support material now?

Honestly they looked even harder to remove than normal supports generated from Slic3r or S3D. And after the struggle with pliers you can clearly see still support material being stuck to the surface of the model.

They explained it right in the video. The new support material is probably indeed harder to remove than supports made from the same material as the item, but leave a smoother surface finish and more detail on the supported surface, because it provides a full mating surface that your actual building material can lay onto. They also still offer soluble support (PVA) which is easily the best but it has two drawbacks. One is that it's dangerous to use PVA with ABS, ABS tends to simply curl up on top of PVA and grow an upside down ball of ABS afro right on your nozzle. Other is that it increases iteration time, because it'll take a whole day to come off, so when your boss says 'i don't have all day', well. There's hypothetically HIPS soluble support material for ABS, but D-Limonene used to dissolve HIPS is nasty and tends to eat up ABS too!

Interesting material but I guess with it being Ultimaker's own filament we won't see a 1.75 version?

It is possible to remove breakaway with the help of some warm water u think? Mine has some parts in some tiny areas which is very hard to reach

PVA somehow is not possible for me somehow. It only manage to print one layer at best. After that it refuses to come out of the nozzle despite room and nozzle temperature

This stuff works great when you need improved surface finish
