Are there any slower swimmers in this race that could give Sam a draft in the water or work with on the bike?
I don’t think so, looks like he’ll be by himself - but that could work in his favour on this course. Stay out of danger with race ranger and race your own race while the others get carried away and blow up
100% not. Maybe a few more zeros.
My opinion is that Dubrick will be highly motivated. My opinion is he thought he was slighted in not being allowed to defend his title in San Francisco.
He'll want to make some kind of splash, so I say out of the water first, then fastest run.
The main factor that all of this analysis misses is the heat. It will not be an ounce of a factor. That desert heat wouldn't matter if it was 40c, that air doesn't hold the humidity.
