The risks versus reward of tibia lengthening is just not worth it. Smaller gains, slower healing, breaking of the fibulas and ankle issues etc. Then on top of everything it’s also more expensive than femurs 🦴
Can people gain around 6 cm or like 2.5 inches after lengthening of a single segment? Plus can you tell me, how long does it take to walk and do light jogging after the surgery without any support like crutches, walkers, etc?
@@sourishbanerjee2377 Usually no because the max for tibias is around 2.0 inches(for Precice nail). After that lengthening becomes very painful and you start to lose your original strength, even after recovering. Recovery without the need for support is the same amount of time of your lengthening. So if you were lengthening for 3 months, it will take another 3 months to walk without assistance.
Victor, any idea about research in Growth Plate activation. The Dana Trompet research paper was a breath of fresh air in LL
Victor any news about pmax?
Hi, I have been seeing the channel Live Life Taller. I was wondering if they are a legit route.
