This video is great. In the near future, S&OP would be disappeared or replaced by the new concepts for the ideal operational process with technology or not?

It won't come as a surprise to you that we are fairly sceptic about the overall efficiency of an S&OP process which gives the feeling of control and ownership but in reality dooms operations to endless meetings instead of setting up systems for automation. In the long-run we would indeed believe that S&OP for operational decisions will become obsolete, but keep in mind that change takes time, especially in bureaucratic structures that tend to privilege S&OP etc. Kind regards - Fabian
@@sunandpal IBP is the vaporware pushed by some prominent market analysts to make some ancient tech look brand new (and better). I very much doubt that IBP is the future of anything, let alone the one of supply chains. Cheers, Joannes

@@Lokad I doubt it will be replaced rather companies will convert from S&OP to IBP.
