Unboxing - E&L AKM Gen 2

Unboxing video of the E&L AKM ELM Gen 2 with field strip.
Its rumored that these airsoft are for real akm rifles or uses real parts, I do believe it so also, because they use real parts, not all but some parts I could identify myself.
Note: The dust cover is a lot wider and thicker than a real AKM dust cover uses.
It seems E&L uses weapons grade steel in their airsoft rifles.

I saw it was quite a bit of prying removing the gas tube tension spring off the upper handguard @ 07.01. Is it difficult to put back that gas tube tension spring on the upper handguard and it wouldn't fall off? I have a new set E&L's platinum wood and I would need to do this.

Where did you get the Gen 2 version? I cant find any across Europe...

do the gen 2 essentials come with more of a red varnish on the wood? because the essentials non gen 2 come with boring plain wood

Mine came with red/orange wood look. Not too red or too orange, just in the middle

Very nice, would you say the essentials gen 2s come with consistent looking wood or does it vary in tone? as there’s no details mentioning the colour of the wood when you order I’d assume it’s random

I think it will come will standard wood becuse essentials are cheaper then the E&L AKMs gen 2 (only), its will not come with laminated wood as far I know. Thats the reasont hey are alot cheaper, it has also to do somethnig with gearbox inside, cheaper parts then the original Gen 2s@@MichaelThomas-rb6pu

Both was great as far as i know,but people says enl platinum get better steel quality than gen 2,performance wise platinum are slighty better imo
