Now, I am not sure about this ignition system works, ( maybe it has no influence) but I can tell you that the reason why I carry nothing else on my ignition key but the key itself is because I know as a fact of people that had had there ignition turned off at high speed due to heavy swinging weight of the janitor key chain from left to right!!!!! I agree with Max. The Atom driver was less skilled, or not really trying. On one sequence, you can see the massive heavy Corvette braking before a turn. And what does the Atom do? Copies him. The Atom should have come in faster, and braked later, closing the gap, and should have been on the Vette's bumper after a few turns. I can understand him not wanting to turn it into a back and forth semi race thing where he passes in the corners and the Vette passes back on the straight. But come on. Should have at least caught up once, smacked his ass, just to prove you could.
Like how the atom closed distance in the beginning at every turn. Is it the 4 banger atom vs a fully top of the line v-8 vette? That would certainly be the reason for the straight away bye-bye. Good driving by the vette though, those things can tend to be . . . skittish.

corvettes have already been stripped down in air-tunnels etc. It ruins their aerodynamics by around %18 and power to weight ratio

That ZR1 runs away on this fast track. A twistier circuit would definitely turn the tables in favor of the Atom. What engine setup is in the Atom?

and the atom weighs a third of the ZR1.
1-Get rid of the passenger. 2-get the supercharged version. 3- Get the Ohlins upgrade 4 LEARN HOW TO DRIVE!!!!
