Tomatoes strainer seem easy to use for making any kind of sauce/ salsa that takes tomatoes. I'm just wondering how easy cleanup is. Because I'm all about work smarter, not harder with easy cleanup.
You are a lifesaver seriously 😂 I was so excited to garden and can for the first time this year and found I have NO idea what to do with all. Thank you so much for making these videos ❤🙏
Nice! My hubby got me an attachment for my kitchen aide that’s supposed to do this so I’m excited to finally get to use it now that the tomatoes are starting to ripen. 👍🏻I love how fast that seems to be going in the video. I have so many cherry tomatoes as well and I can only eat so many (and no one else in my household eats the cherry tomatoes because they only like cooked tomatoes). So fun to watch! I plan to dehydrate and powder the solids from the straining process to use in soups and stews like sauce or paste. ☺️
I purchased the garden cart you recommended from this company and it is GREAT. If my tomatoes had produced I would have ordered this. Unfortunately, other than cherry size I just can’t grow tomatoes. I got a few, just not enough to invest in this just yet. I’m not giving up. One day in Texas I’m going to have a bumper crop. Starting seeds to try fall crop. Thank you Jill.
You sure will have a bumper crop! Gal, I am running cherries, Rutgers, and our slicers through it and so please because we’re not wasting anything now. Used to if I didn’t sell on my cherry tomatoes they would only last a day or so. Now I’m running them through here and making pasta sauce and tomato sauce.
I had a similar device and the cleanup was a nightmare but I used it until it broke. So now, Im wondering if I should steam them in a steam juicer and then reduce in a stovepot for sauce? I have my eye on a steam juicer and was hoping it would work for tomatoes. Also bought an Omega juice, and it says on the box that I can juice tomatoes. I haven't opened it yet, but maybe that would work and be a little easier to clean up.
I use the same juicer for tomato juice and the problem was is the juice was clear because you don’t get any of the red pulp. You can always Belinda in a blender and add it to your juice from the steam juicer.
Hi, great video! Just curious did you have to apply any cooking oil to the screw or the sieve when you use the machine? The manual mentions that you use some cooking oil but I'm not really sure if you need to. Can you share any tips about how to use the sauce maker?
I would like to see more of the machine and the process of putting it together, how it works han the outcome.
Will do
Wow awesome
Hey Jill we one of those, I've bee doing this by hand. We blanch and ice bath and I blend everything. Looking forward to part 2. God bless.
One of the best gadgets I own! 😊
I been looking at those for years. What a time saver and I want one now.
It’s so nice and efficient

You are so welcome my love
Back in the day I was making so much salsa that I would put peeling and all into a blender.

Hi does it work if a person boils apples to strain apple sauce?
We haven’t tried but I’d give it a good chance

Just bought a hand mill. This looks so much quicker and easier. Not looking forward to all that work for me, now that I have seen your new machine!😂

i was in your shoes 2 years ago, i bought the machine because just no to hand milling a garden of tomatoes
I’m going to try to seed fall tomatoes any recommendations?

150
My blanched tomatoes plugged my auger with skins and skins. I had to take it spart several times to clean it out. I was disappointed
Do you think it’s because they were blanched already?
@ntxg , not sure. It doesn't plug up as bad if tomatoes are raw. I'm trying to see if anyone else has theses problems and what they do.
Hello, I was wondering if anyone has boiled their tomato's before passing them through this machine without problem. Thanks
I haven’t
you dont need to with the VEVO elictric diddlydooer
❤️👏
Looks great but too expensive for my wallet. Lol
I’m sorry girl, we are using it for our farm market, so hopefully it will help pay for itself soon
@@ntxg That is true. Totally pay for itself.
