Gotta say this is the best board i've had so far. Okay, the thing is that on really hard snow/ice, taking a hard curve will make you wash out. But hey, who rides on ice? And you dont gonna wash out unless you're going 40mph trying to carve. If you can handle a snowboard at high speed from before, the softer flex is not going to turn you down.
As for flex and landings, this board has tons of pop, TONS! But it feels like the main core has a more stiffer flex which kicks in if you land to much on your tail or nose. And this board is also super light and playful, but the core flex keeps it in place at high speed and landings. Its not going to let you down at landings, I can promise you that.9/10 board
Remember that a 40ft jump as the video mentions is huuuge.

I definitely love this board, it initiates turns quickly, floats in pow way better than it should and even though I prefer to ride all mountain and actual back country having this twin has helped me to progress in certain riding styles much more easily than on more dedicated all mountain decks. That said if I had to do it again I would definitely get the cambered version. Flying V just feels too loose. When straight lining on a cat track, especially if the snow is firm the board tends to want to spin and getting into a solid carve is definitely a bit more tricky. For those who like rocker though this board does do a really good job and charges harder than pretty much any other rockered board I've ridden.

got one 162w today from outlet for 99franc, guess i cant go wrong at that price.
Im coming from a nitro magnum 167w (stiff massive and heavy) wanted to completely change the style to have an all rounded roster.
I'll tell you coming from high speed carving lover if it feels tricky.
im 1m87 for 80kilo and usually ride with power more than technique.
Ill ride it with 5/10 boot and bindings.

thank you for this solid review !! I recently snagged a 19 model with mission bindings on e-bay for under $300 (board had a minor ding in the side base n minimal scratches on the topcoat) when i saw this vid i was confident that I was making a good buy! Thxs!!! Keep up the solid reviews!

While travelling to Switzerland the airline managed to destroy my Burton Ripcord… thinking of what to buy next without being too adventurous… would the Flying V be a good upgrade but still playful enough (not too intimidating) or should I just buy another Ripcord?

If you were choosing between this and the Libtech Cold Brew, which would buy for an all mountain board? Both have a similar hybrid rocker profile. Any other suggestion in this style that would be better?

I'd choose Seppeku if I had to.

Why the fuck would you want this in a big foot size it sucks.

Your review says this board would definitely be solid for a solid intermediate rider that's looking to progress. I figured from your review that this or something like it might fit the bill. I don't need something to carve aggressive turns on, I have a flagship for harder carving days but would like a kinda forgiving playful board that I can learn more shit on and expand my skills on that won't own me as I'm trying to progress (no not just pulling wheelies everywhere) but would fit my fucking massive feet. Your input would be appreciated and amusing I'm sure. Cheers from Switzerland.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it appears you've changed your tune on such cambered boards because in your view they make "shitty" snowboarders look better than they are.

Hi! Burton Process Flying V or Ride Machete 2019?

  • @sammyread1

What's your opinion on how accurate the manufacturers guides are for board size in relation to riders weight? I'm 95kg and got a 155cm Process on a friends recommendation. I love it as I love park and spins. Does it always come down to personal preference at the end of the day? Thanks

    Flying V or
Pure pop camber for this chica? Does mcmorris ride Flying V process or camber?

    • @AngrySnowboarder
      @AngrySnowboarder  5 лет назад +1

He's straight camber, don't let the marketing fool you. I'd go pure pop unless you want to swivel and sizzle.

Is this good for a first snowboard? And which bindings would work better with it: Union Force or burton mission?
