I'm reading the book and find it very persuasive. However his presentation of the Glorious Revolution as a 'Dutch Invasion' is very weak in my opinion. His counterfactual of saying that if Hitler or Napoleon had invaded they would have found their own signatories, even if true, is not relevant because if they had occurred you would never have had the vast majority of the English population welcome them and even rebel against the English authority. There is nothing about it that seems like an invasion in the sense that William I was or Napoleon or Hitler had planned. Other than that I think the book is great.
Great presentation. Thank you very much
Excellent presentation. I will be reading Geoff’s new book.
Interesting and instructive presentation. Of course finance matters, together with other perequisites of development.
