Camphor shouldn't be used for agnihothra, since it has chemical contents in it. The ash of agnihothra if performed in the right way can be consumed in a very minimal quantity for many health issues.
It has to be performed exactly at the time of sunset and sunrise. Only two offerings are given in the fire. We are performing the same for past 37 years. You are doing a good job but request you to please learn the right process and spread it amongst your known people

Agni hotra or hawan yajna not pooja,the purpose is purification of the home/ atmosphere dry cowdung is not the best choice instead dried fruit trees shrub or wood mixed with dried grains and medicinal spices (staalipak) added as samagri burned in the hawan kund as the process of purification.
First guru. Ganpati and kuldevta pujan . Then only other puja starts. Learn right procedures. Only yagyopavitra person are eligible for pronouncing OM. Others Hreem. Hareem is tantrik pranav and any one can pronounce
Very well said. Plus the whole process is not accurate too. Everyone should not do Agnihotras at home as they wish. It is a very dedicated and divine spiritual practice through Gurus.
