WOW! Such beautiful inks!! I love the terra-cotta and the Armadillo the best. Although I am partial to oink and purple inks all of the time. I really want to order from Birmingham Pen Company because they have such beautiful inks! Thank you for sampling some of their inks. You have opened up my world to so many more inks and I love that!❤
I'm so grateful for your ink exploration videos. This way we can find beautiful inks quickly and see how they behave. The Pennsylvania Fieldstone is so gorgeous ✨✨
Really all of these inks are gorgeous! I never thought I would say I love Armadillo, but in this ink form, I absolutely adore it! And, even though it looks nothing like terracotta clay to me either, I think it's such a beautiful, dusty, delicate pink. I also adore Sandstone, but I don't think it's full bottle worthy for me at the moment. I have to go with Armadillo. Crown chakra trying to tell me something? Hmmmm... Thank you so much! this video is perfection1 Lisa
I have had these in several different pens and nib sizes and they have performed beautifully in all of them. I had Twilight inked in my Esterbrook Esti Punch. Loved that combo. I just inked up Sandstone to add to my December line up. Butchers broom was so wonderful to write with in November as well as Ambered Adobe. Butchers Broom reminds me of Robert Oster Muddy Dragon as well. I am so happy you like them and can't wait to hear how you feel about them in a pen.
Fellow Texan here! Howdy. I have yet to see a purple armadillo either, but that copperhead is lovely and I never thought I’d like a snake. 😂 The Pennsylvania swatch reminds me of Sailor Seki that I have. It’s gray and shades purple-pink. These are all beautiful swatches.
Armadillo threw me for a loop, but maybe they're referencing the pink fairy armadillo? Still not a perfect match for the ink, but maybe they just picked a name they liked. I think butcher's broom and heron are my favorites, but copperhead looks excellent as well. Thanks for making this series, really helps me find inks to try without just buying samples at random.
I hope you enjoy these inks. I am using the Twinkle formula and love it, unfortunately we cannot get these in UK so it is a case of getting samples from those who travel.
Thank you for sharing!! I want to try their shimmery inks at some point. Good to know that they aren't available everywhere. Hopefully if their brand grows they can reach more places :)
❤ Birmingham Pen Company inks are the most beautiful inks I have seen since I began my fountain pen journey just a few ago. I love that they are hand crafted in the United States and I think they are made with so much love and care. ❤ I think I am going to purchase a bottle of Sugar Kelp because I have been obsessed with finding a dupe of Krishna's Cassia Flora ever since Liane did a swatch video of Krishna inks that she was given in inky mail. If you have any suggestions for a Cassia Flora dupe, please share! Thank you so much! I love your swatching videos so much! Lisa
I would love to know a dupe as well. I haven't tried Cassia Flora by Krishna so I don't really have anything to compare. But Sugar Kelp looks so interesting!
im living vicariously through these (BPC dont ship internationally) these colours are all so complex and beautiful! sandstone and field stone are maybe my favourite ?? its hard to pick!
I can't help but think that maybe the Pennsylvania Fieldstone and Armadillo are incorrectly labeled. I have both of those colors and on the screen your Armadillo looks like my PA Fieldstone and your PA Fieldstone looks like my Armadillo - I'd describe Armadillo as a gray with purple undertones. Regardless, they are both very smooth and wonderful to write with. I just love BPC inks.
I don't think so, it could be the paper I used! Sometimes the Tomoe River Paper makes inks look different than on Rhodia or Midori paper. I find that paper makes a HUGE difference in color pay off. I prefer TRP though :)

Thank you so much for this video! I've been wanting to try Birmingham Inks for so long, and this definitely helps me to narrow my picks down. 😍😍😍
You're so welcome!! I have a Birmingham ink order coming in soon and will do some more swatches too. 💝

THANK YOU!!! I already inked up Pennsylvania Fieldstone and am OBSESSED. It flows so beautifully in my Kaweco. I'm excited to try more :)
@@mydandeliondiaries woo hoo!! I had PF inked up for over two months when I got it. Lol
The shading on that ink is fantastic.

That is an interesting comparison! I will have to look at those now. I think the Penn Fieldstone might be a bit darker though.
I am currently obsessed with Sandstone!
It. is. STUNNING. 😍

Glad you enjoyed these inks! I find that a lot of BPC inks throw me for a loop with how they change in color haha
These are GORGEOUS! 😍😍😍 I took a screenshot so I could go get them lol

@@mydandeliondiaries Cassia Flora is part of a collection that is discontinued by Krishna.
How did Priscilla know that I have many of these colors on my wishlist? 😁 fantastic swatches as always!
It's so good! Thank you!

It is so hard to choose a favorite! I hope BPC can get to a point where they ship internationally soon 💝
Your vids are so calming 🤍 (edit: also, butcher's broom is the closest ink I've seen to actual blood plus the name is perfectly creepy lol)
Thank you so much! 💝
some very beautiful inks in this collection. Hope they will find an Aussie distributor at some point.
Me too! Several others have hoped for international selling at some point.

I wouldn't call these colors pretty or beautiful. They are more manly and TOUGH colors. Without a doubt not pretty haha. Comedy.
Too bad I can't get BPC inks here in Europe. 🥺 I found so many beautiful inks on their site. 🥰 It's always so nice watching swatchings. 😇🩵🙏🙌
Maybe one day! I know there is a lot of demand for international buying!
Yes, hopefully at retailers/shops since the shipping from US is horrible.
