    And it's all fun and games until someone loses an eye...I don't blame any of the children. The oldest, Aemond, was all of 10 or 11; the child who cut Aemond's eye was eight years old (in the show; in the book Luke is six). They are not old enough to be capable of anything resembling proper judgment. I blame all the adults for tainting the kids' relationships (Alicent by her prejudices and rumors about Rhaenyra's sons, Rhaenyra by keeping such a distance from her half-siblings) and for not assuring that all the children were well attended and guarded during their stay at High Tide/Driftmark.

    People had issue with how dark the scene were. Those all scenes were shot in day light and then tone down to look like it's night. If you have computer monitor with good refresh rate you won't have trouble. Also not to mention most of the reactors have a diffuser light pointing at them which is also why it's hard to see for them. I was watching on my project and I was not even able to see faces forget dragon or their intimate scene. I had to watch it on my monitor.

    Some people really do need to chill in this comment section. It's an TV serie, no need to hate the reactors just because they do not sided where you already side on in this family rivalry.
    Should i add as well, that despite the reality concerning the children of Rhaenyra, it does not make any better the two sons of Alicent. Obviously, the parenting style seems more positive and healthy from the side of Jaceary and his little brother Lucerys, than Aegon and Aemond that seems quite negative and harsh.
    No Wonder that the reactors seem to valorize them more instead of the green.

    Anybody during the reactions claim that the dragon was stolen from Velaryon girl has zero knowledge about how dragons in this universe works. These are living beings not some heretical objects. They have a mind of their own. Also nothing guarantees that someone will be able to tame a dragon just because their ancestor was riding it or did it previously. Hence why Vermithor was riderless for more than two decades, Vhagar might have stayed with no rider as well...

    I think most of the reactors are pretty biased when it comes to the scene between Aemond, his cousins and nephews. They immediately sided with Beela and Rhaerna.
    True, he said some kind of shitty stuff but he was not in the wrong. Dragons are not property. They can chose whatever owner they want and anyone can claim a dragon.
    Why else would Vhagar had chosen him after he calmed her down? Baela and Rhaena were being salty and were the ones who actually started the fight by putting their hands on him.
    Then Jace and Luke jumped into it when it had nothing to do with them and they jumped on Aemond. Most of them are blind as hell.

      You’re right that Baela and Rhaena were wrong, yeah it was a bit of bad timing to try and claim Vhagar literally right after the funeral of her last rider, but dragons aren’t passed through inheritance like a keep is unless it’s an egg. That being said though I can kind of at least see how Luke slicing Aemond eye was justifiable, since Aemond had a rock over his brothers head but everything before that could have been avoided by Baela and Rhaena not acting entitled towards a whole ass dragon

    • @rodgill9376
      @rodgill9376 Год назад +12

      @@Hidakaku56 the only thing that I didn’t agree with Aemond is what he said about their mother. That was shitty. But as you also pointed out, anyone can claim a dragon at any time long as you think you can handle them or calm them down enough to do so. As with the rock part, remember they jumped on Aemond in a 4v1 Star Wars Battlefront style. He picked up the rock to get them to stop. I don’t believe he was actually going to use it. Least until one of them brought out the knife. I think that’s more wrong than using a rock. But least be honest: what would possess someone to give a knife to a child in the first place?! Also, even though it was kind of shitty calling Luke and Jace bastards out loud, they actually are though as wrong as it might seem.

    • @Hidakaku56
      @Hidakaku56 Год назад +15

      @@rodgill9376 I’m not saying Aemond was wrong for defending himself, he absolutely wasn’t, but if someone was holding a rock over my brothers head even if my brother started the fight, I wouldn’t take the risk of assuming the guy would drop the rock and not smash my brothers face in, so I see Luke’s pov to.
      Granted, even if Luke felt it necessary to use the knife….just fucking cut his arm. But they are all kids, so they aren’t gonna be using critical thinking skills. The girls were grieving, Aemond just desperately wanted to fit in and feel like a true Targ and show everyone he was worth something by claiming the biggest dragon, and Luke and Jace went along for the ride and shit went to hell

      And just because Aemond didn't throw the first blow, he did instigate the confrontation with his dickish attitude, along with escalating by going for a rock when everyone else was still just throwing hands, and even though it's not the biggest factor Aemond is notably older and bigger than all of the other kids.
