There were a lot of changes from the light novel since the first part of season 2, and I cant remember if I commented on that. There is going to be a turning point by the end of the season. It was shown in the first trailers for season 2, but in the latest trailers for part 2, there wasnt any, so I would say is a 70-30 leaning to the season actually having a turning point. Anyway, here are some takes, notes and changes from the light novel. Of course, there wont be no spoilers. 1- In the light novel, before he got cured, he told everyone about his ED, and cliffeven apologized for thinking that he was rude by looking at women all the time when he was just desperate. 2- In the anime they skipped what I said before, so his classmates reactions were different, but nothing major. 3- When he saw pursena and rinia, he was actually glad because all his functions were back, thats why he smiled. 4- In the anime you cant really appreciate it but rudeus was reallly anxious about marriage. He took the decision in the heat of the moment but he didnt want to take that back. There a lot of lines of him doubting every decision, but he was always happy, so I guess thats why the anime didnt show it. 5-He had quite a lot of money thanks to his job with soldat as he did mostly A or S rank missions, however, things werent that good when looking for a good house that could have a prince and a princess as guests. He got a discount for the hunted house by useing Ariel and Badigadis name to get a better treatment, thats why Sylphie already knew that he got a house. He cant use the princess name without the bodyguards finding out after all. (The novel also says that Sylphie was really excited with the idea of having a house with Rudeus, fantasizing with the possibilites...) 6-I think they skipped it in the first season, but Rudeus met with Soldat again and Elinalise and Cliff went with him to drink. Cliff always wanted to be an adventurer so Elinalise and Soldat party took him for a job. Obviously, things went real bad for Cliff as he had 0 experience and the party was S rank. 7-When they arrived to the house, Rudeus was a bit more cautious, he is a professional after all. Not a major change or anything but im sad we didnt get to see that side of him properly. 8-Rudeus and Cliff were quite scared with the atmosphere of the house and the anime did a really great job with the atmosphere, although they cut quite a lot of lines, it wasnt anything relevant, except for the fact that its harder to tell how close the 3 are now. When he asked about marriage, the conversation was also a bit longer. 9-In the novel, Rudeus had to make some things to buy the house and by the time Zanoba is returning with Cliff and the doll, it was already a few days later. 10-In the novel they show how an craftsman called Balda helps with the Renovations. The dwarf called Balda accepted because he had already heard about Rudeus the quagmire, a teammate of his friends former party (Tallhand, the dwarf that traveled with Elinalise and Roxy. He said that the house was really good among other things. He was quite good at his job. I always enjoy when they show capable people like that. 11-The novel also details all the work and changes to the house but I cant even remember that. 12-Sylphies work with the princess Ariel isnt a problem right now, but in 2 years, the princess had to comeback to the Asura Kingdom, so it was a really far away place, but even now, she had to spent most of her nights sleeping next to the princess as her bodyguard. 13-During the whole conversation, which was quite long, Rudeus was reakky horny, but it was a serious topic, so he held back for a moment. 14-During Balads examination, he said that the basement was incredibly well done, as if the only thing that matters was the basement and the rest of the house was simple decoration. Rudeus at some point in the night, went back to the basement, there was a beautiful altar. The basement was turned into a Shrine to revere his goddess, and for the rest of the story, he will keep on praying to his goddess as much as possible. It is obviously a funny part, but it was a really important part and it most likely wont get adapted. He trully sees Roxy as his goddess and will be forever grateful to her because it was her teachings that allowed him to survive. He learned magic, but it was also thanks to her that he didnt kill himself twice. That would be all!! I skipped a lot of things but I got tired of typing. The anime is skipping a lot of content, but I cant blame them, if they adapted everything, we would have in total around 30 episodes of pure slice of life. Sorry for the really long comment, but hopefuly you will find them interesting.
Actually, the turning point will be much earlier. And I understood what you consider a "turning point," and yes, it will certainly happen at that part! Some images of events a little after this "turning point" were released (I don't know if it was a leak or the studio itself that published them). (SPOILER ALERT AHEAD) The arrival of the letter marks the turning point, after all, it is at this moment that Rudy faces two options: to stay or to go, with each of these options having completely different effects (as well stated by the man-god in the future).
@@vonvogel @vonvogel yeah, you are right, the third turning point happens around chapter 7 of volume 11 and I believe this episode covered around the fourth chapter of volume 10, so I'm guessing the turning point will happen in around the 5~7th episode. @@vonvogel The turning point chapters/episodes describe periods of flux in the story. The actual turning event can be a whole lot narrower in scope and time. THEORYCRAFTING: For TP3 I see Nanahoshi giving Rudeus her notebook as being the core decision in TP3. The entire scenario changed with that.

Rudy provides anything stone and earth related himself as he can create that with magic and its better than most stuff you can buy so he actually saved a load of money by creating materials himself. Wind and water magic helps with cleaning (remember in season 1 he used magic to dry cloths) so he also has a certain precision with it.
I think you missed it while talking cuz it happened really fast but at the start of the episode we can see that Rudy cut out the bloody part of the bed sheet and put it next to the Roxy's holy relic in the shrine. Basically Rudy's faith just got an update, now he has 2 goddeses to pray to!

She was bestowed that name by Ariel not as a result of her getting married, but to more smoothly facilitate it. Sylphie was born a poor hunter's daughter who himself never knew who his father was. And Rudeus is a noble by blood. They aren't yet "officially" married, as far as such things go in the setting. They still need to declare it to their social circles. Marriage is seen a union between peers, and with high nobility and royalty appearance is everything. Part of the reason why Sylphy never revealed herself was because her heritage as the daughter of a hunter who himself was a nameless bastard and whose wife was the daughter of slaves would reflect poorly upon Ariel in the eyes of other nobles. But with her elevation to nobility, this is no longer a concern.
13:50 "Did you really need to heal your face from that?" Well, his head was being squeezed by the same guy who cracked the doll's head with one hand. If anything I'm surprised his skull wasn't fractured (and maybe that's what he was healing...).

No. It's very realistic and makes perfect sense in the MT world building that Redues could afford to buy an expensive mansion at age 16. If he couldn't afford to buy it, even after a couple of years of working as an adventurer and having saved up the money he earned (as explicitly mentioned in the source, the LN), that requires an explanation since it contradicts facts of the MT world. The fact is that A-rank adventurer is a very HIGH INCOME JOB in the MT world (as long as he or she survives), and the age is irrelevant. If you are a 15 yo A-rank adventurer, you basically could earn just as much money to save up as 25 yo, 35 yo A rank adventurer. For example, He managed to slay a Red Dragon (I presume you still remember the red dragon slaying scene), and that single quest alone brought him to earn an insane amount of money. And You know, that was just one of the many quests he had carried out for a couple of years he had worked as an A-rank adventurer. It is no different than the fact that a teenage could afford to buy an expensive mansion in our world if he or she is a very successful teen entrepreneur of some IT Businness. Maybe, you forgot it or simply do not know as an anime-only audience.
Great reaction! This will be a great part, a real rollercoaster of emotions, so don't expect it to be something monotonous and confined to the "slice of life" genre. I've read all 26 volumes of Mushoku and volume 12 (which is being adapted in this part) is one of the best, certainly among the top 5. But I'll say one thing: the top four haven't been adapted yet, so invest in this work because it won't disappoint you, the future is bright!
Was there a misunderstanding within the convo with Nanahoshi? She and rudy both understood she was referring to one of the other 2 guys she was with when she got teleported and rudy got reincarnated. Just asking if I'm the one confused. :)
@@Tounushi sorry I worded that badly, I'm referring to the reactors opinion said at the time of the scene. I'm not referring to rudy and nanahoshis opinions. He said something kinda of eluding to her maybe liking rudy and one reason being her liking being around him, but clearly was referring to her friend from earth.
I just heard her say sometimes just being with someone is enough and that seemed like she could be referring to Rudy... or someone else in the current world at school. I don't know if we missed context on her speaking about someone from the old world or don't remember a conversation from last cour.

He says, oh yeah she said she was arguing to her 2 friends when she got teleported. So that is pretty much confirming 100% that she loved one of the 2 boys she was with when rudy got hit by the truck. And when she said the line about just being with the one u love is enough, was her continuing the convo for loved ones.

Actually now that you mention it, it parallels the konosuba house literally right down to the haunting being an animated doll. Konosuba coming later only makes that more likely to be deliberate tbh given that it's meant to be a parody of the genre and has other refs to mushoku too

They both know what she meant, but she doesn't know he knows. To her, he's just some guy who'd died in Japan and ended up reborn in that world.

Cliff's quarter-hobbit, so him being kinda short is expected. Still taller than in the manga and about as tall as in the LN illustrations.
All I will allow myself to assure it that, this cour, we WILL GET a Turning Point (I have a feeling it will be by episode 3-4)
