The first time you get bullied, you have to fight back...or it never ends & Usually gets much worse. Respect is earned. You will probably end up being friend's afterward, but not if you back down. Win or lose doesn't matter at all.

By season 3, spoilers, it's mostly revealed that Bloberta never cared for her children. She just wants to look like a perfect house wife. She doesn't care about Orel's safety. She most likely doesn't want her neighbors to notice the boy coming back bloody and bruised..plus more detergent money.

This episode is full of so many winning moments, starting at the scene where Orel is wearing a home made punching device to just beat his face automatically at home. Like who thought of that, and how did Orel even build it? Everything from there, all the people he punches, culminating in him beating his parents and not getting punished is just comedic gold. I even own and love cats, and seeing him beat the cat just made me go "Wtf the cat can't even make a fist" but I was still laughing.
Disregarding the fact that Orel was beating up everyone with very little provocation, I do find it really, really satisfying that his dad says "You should hit back when people try to hurt you," and then is hit back when he tries to hurt Orel.
I genuinely think this episode marks a change in how clay treats Orel- we only see him bring Orel to the study like one or two times after this and both times it’s shown to be less effective at disciplining Orel. God bless the little kid he managed to knock some sense into his father
Turning the other cheek doesn't even mean making yourself weak. It's actually a taunt. To hit that other cheek, you opponent would have to either hit backhanded or use their weak hand, both seen as unhonorable in ancient times
Yeah and its not even a biblical virtue. Its a popularly advertised idea for a few reasons- primarily to attempt to prevent kids from thoughts of violence and vengeance. An introduction to the idea that life's largely about perseverance- but it's never fully explained well, like a lot of the things orel learns.
@@RickyRatte ya i meant the interpretation and why that part is more commonly used in explaining humility or restraint. A lot of the apostolic verses are spaced and separated strangely for one reason or another, so if you take 31 about divorce like "turn to him the other also", you could end up with a similarly wrong idea.
I just love the little detail of both Orel and Clay turning their heads when the fire cracks loudly at 10:03 because anyone would get a bit startled at a sudden loud noise, especially in a quiet room. This is the most human reaction I’ve ever seen in an animation. The creators are absolutely genius !
its really nice to see bloberta showing concern for orel.... i believe that she only said "i cant do laundry everyday" and "ill have to double my detargent budget" is because she knew that clay wouldnt have do anything about the situation if it was only for orel's well-being
SPOILERS!!! 8:50 "A father never gives up on his son, because then he isn't a really a father." After Clay's mom passes away, his dad gave up on hitting him for punishing him. He told Clay he wasn't worth the effort, basically giving up on him. For Clay to say that a father doesn't give up on his children, he's trying to not be like his dad.
It should be said that clay is sort of right in a way. Not all the way mind you but turn the other cheek doesn’t mean just don’t do anything when your getting hurt. Several times the Bible literally tells you to defend yourself.
If there's one valuable lesson to be learned from this episode, it's the proper way to deal with a recurring bully. Apparently the best way is to sucker punch them to the ground then kick em in the head til they paa out and walk away. Can ya imagine how many school kids could use an example like this? No more telling to a teacher and getting labelled a snitch, or fighting fare and square then getting the snot beaten out of ya or enduring the abuse day in and day out till ya finally snap and don't stop at a simple beating.

God bless the little kid he managed to knock some sense into his father
man knew he couldn't push his son around anymore. He might have a belt but all orel needed was his hands to make his father back off him.
@@antonioreconquistador umm, it is. Mathew 5,39.
That ye resist not evil: but whoever shall smite thee =/= every transgression or transgressor deserves to have their way with you.
@@antonioreconquistador oh, you meant that interpretation. It thought you meant the Turn the other cheeck thing in general
The point that Orel getting constantly beaten up only raises concern when the washing of his blood stained clothes would drain money...
Priceless.
just like that detergent
get em orel
yup ‼️‼️
@@blackstar044 Exactly- 🤣😅
It's hilarious how every kid in school is running away at the sight of orels presence
The Fist of God walks those halls now.
This isn’t even a bully situation anymore, this is physical violence
That's why it's funny
Orels hands rated E for Everyone
I just love the little detail of both Orel and Clay turning their heads when the fire cracks loudly at 10:03 because anyone would get a bit startled at a sudden loud noise, especially in a quiet room. This is the most human reaction I’ve ever seen in an animation. The creators are absolutely genius !
5:07 I just realized Clay reaches into his robe to pull out his glass.
He's does that all the time
8:16 Did anyone else find it weird how Clay was just standing there for a few seconds while he was beating his mom?
I think he was just trying to process it I always thought it was funny because he’s always wanted to do that to his wife
he's cherishing the moment. Clay hates his wife that much
@@baronreeves9232We can’t blame for this
@9:43 It feels like they're wasting a fortune just standing there. Better make the most of it. "Orel does a little dance" lol
4:48 Clay’s Responses:
- Okay………So what does that mean?
- And that’s my problem because…….?
- OH SHIT! $$$$
Bro clays face when his wife talk about oral getting his shirt bloody 🤣
He like "what fuck you saying??"
I almost believe in God to be brought to this most hilarious episode. Thank the Universe Praise the Code
It's kinda sweet how Orel just accepts Block as a part of the family.
its really nice to see bloberta showing concern for orel.... i believe that she only said "i cant do laundry everyday" and "ill have to double my detargent budget" is because she knew that clay wouldnt have do anything about the situation if it was only for orel's well-being
7:39 I gotta say, the scariest part is that goddamn smile.
8:27 Also, the way he catches that fucking paddle out of the air!
I never saw a pitcher charge the batting box until now.
You know for a supposedly cowardly approach, Orel sure isn't one to flinch
“Your the best dad, I love you” narrator:but soon all of that was going to change
The kids running from Orel while he just walks toward then smiling kills me everytime 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Orel is a beast.
The music when Orel was just about to kill those kids. Why did it make me laugh so hard.
Ok but why is Orel so adorable in that first scene
Man that song is unreasonably catchy.
Otdn it was
I'm telling you it's always funny because that song called turn the other cheek has been stuck in my head for days to come
8:18 this ones gotta be in the top 10 most satisfying moments in any piece of media

Number 1-
SPOILERS!!!
8:50 "A father never gives up on his son, because then he isn't a really a father."
After Clay's mom passes away, his dad gave up on hitting him for punishing him. He told Clay he wasn't worth the effort, basically giving up on him. For Clay to say that a father doesn't give up on his children, he's trying to not be like his dad.
Let's see, Butters from South Park, Moral Oral and Andrew Glouberman from Big Mouth are the only ones that I know that kicked their Dad's asses
Playing "X Gon' Give It To Ya" during Orel's rampage is so fitting
sobbing every time orel and clay have a normal father-son exchange
5:53 Will Smith prediction right there😂
I thought the same thing lmao
Why is no one talking about how weirdly wholesome Orel making a paddle for his dad is lol
I like how clay doesn’t care about bloberta getting beat up then realizes it’s Orel 😂
It should be said that clay is sort of right in a way. Not all the way mind you but turn the other cheek doesn’t mean just don’t do anything when your getting hurt. Several times the Bible literally tells you to defend yourself.
Orel is the living personification of "malicious compliance"
i am so afraid of this child
If there's one valuable lesson to be learned from this episode, it's the proper way to deal with a recurring bully. Apparently the best way is to sucker punch them to the ground then kick em in the head til they paa out and walk away. Can ya imagine how many school kids could use an example like this?
No more telling to a teacher and getting labelled a snitch, or fighting fare and square then getting the snot beaten out of ya or enduring the abuse day in and day out till ya finally snap and don't stop at a simple beating.
I keep remembering seeing Clay's "I don't give a shit" face until he hear about losing money
This episode is easily one of my favourites so far!!!
its such a rollercoaster of emotions throughout the entire episode
