Great education. I need extenders for up to 5 tvs. I am confused by the primary and secondary locations. In my case where I have all my media equipment, router, incoming fiber from service provider, etc. in a media rack/closet, would that be my primary location? How do I make all this future proof (i.e., allow for 8K and up)?
What I don't understand is that most of these products that extend a 4K@60hz over CAT 5e and higher also specify that they use a transfer rate of 18 Gpbs. But a Cat 5e's maximum specified capacity is merely 1 Gbps (if the length of the cable is 100m/~328f and frequency @ 100Mhz). In my case I have CAT 5e cables at home (rated up to 250 Mhz - exact model is VOL-5EUL4-Cat5e made by 3M) and I estimate that the distance between the transmitter and receiver would be under 30m/~98f. Will I be able to extend 4K@60hz without any lag? Also, you have another product called EX-230C which requires CAT 6 and up. How come they require different category cables?
waterbucket 1 second ago Is there a delay in reencoding the signal or is it so little it's in milliseconds. Also has there been any issues with audio drift or sync?
thanks for the good explanation and demonstration

Thank you
Do you guys have an email or social media where I can contact and ask questions about a product?
Will this work with a cat7 cable?
This unit does not pass 4k signal from the loop back it will only output 1080 and as such is useless
Hi.
It does not work, the distance is 40m, there is no image on the projector screen.
