The bit with Jennifer Lawrence harping on the general charging them for snacks was easily the best part of this film.

We can't reduce the consumption of energy, it will only increase in the future as we bring more people out of poverty. Therefore we need more power which will require clean technology of renewable energy and nuclear fusion.
We need to advance medicine to eradicate diseases that plague humanity. Cancer, HIV and others in an endless line.
We need the technology to produce more food from less land to feed an evergrowing human population.
We need the technology to turn land more fertile and produce more clean water for countries that struggle to feed their own people.

It is a great film because it tells the current situation in a satirical way but without losing the message. Jennifer Lawrence is gifted for comedy. Don't stop laughing with her character. meryl and cate should do more comedies they too jennifer, meryl, cate are the best.

Sad thing is, it's not even a parody. This is practically a documentary.

the scene is just.. heartbreaking... it's heartbreaking how it turned out to be, and it's definatly changing the way I see climate scientists, the amount of courage it takes to stand up and just say the truth in that messed up world where so many people just don't want to care...it's terrifying, takes a LOT of courage

What a great film!! Leo and Jen are fantastic as always, but I LOVED Rob Morgan so much! Would really like to see him do more films! Love his voice for some reason, lol! His subtle humor really added so much to this film! I have been a huge fan of Leo's since Romeo+Juliet came out in the 90s lol but I absolutely loved him in Don't Look Up! It was just such a different role than what he usually does, and it's a topic close to his heart and that really shows! Great movie!!

How many of us have watched those epic end of the world movies like "Independance Day" and "Armageddon" where we all manage to come together despite our differences and fight a common threat? This is the opposite of that movie because we are at an opposite of that time. We would never be able to do that anymore and it is not just a Republican or a Democrat thing or even an American thing. Nations would outright refuse to work together to the bitter end. And a fair amount of every population would "scream.....you are sheep for believing in the scientist. I looked on the internet and know more then him. There is no threat."

I think this is my favorite performance by LD.
Yes, he's amazing in everything he's been in and, objectively speaking, this is not his best performance, but it's my personal favorite and it's probably going to be the favorite for some other people as well.
This film doesn't just have things to say about climate change, it's a critique on everything "not so great" happening around us (And caused by us) on a daily basis, and it's become even more relevant because of the pandemic.
Please watch it. If you're not even remotely interested in the subject matter, I think you'll still end up having a really good time watching it 🎉🎊 Happy new year everyone 💝

That line Is in my head every day remembering me that we can still do something. We are still here, I believe that was the objective of this production, to make people to realize what we are doing AND what is there but we dont want to see.
