    dlp does indeed look more realistic here... but it looks as if you could just turn down some settings in the LCD to make it more even. BenQ will also never get a penny from me charging 250 bucks for bulbs.... "The nerve."

    Hello! I dont know what to buy between Epson CO-FH02 and Benq TH575. Epson is 3lcd and Benq is dlp. I dont care about the non-replaceable bulb on the epson because i dont use the projector often and when it dies i will buy a better one. I saw that 3lcd is better for colors and dlp is better at contrast. Is there any clarity difference between these 2 technologies? I like that the epson has an integrated android tv stick (i know i can buy one for benq too but its nice that its integrated). I dont know the advantages and disadvantages between 3lcd and dlp. saw that 3lcd has dust filter and im worried that the lamp will catch dust that cant be cleaned but i am also worried about dlp rainbow effect.. Can someone make it clear for me? Its a tough decision.

      @@gunay3172 got the epson and its the best buy. Projected 4-5 meters diagonal full hd very good brightness, very good contrast, amazing colors. The android tv usb stick is very fast and works perfectly. Used it only on eco mode cause normal mode is too bright. Worth every dollar. If i knew a year ago i wouldnt compare it with other projectors and id buy it right away!

    I like dlp because of the better blacks and smoother image. I have an optoma hd66 3d projector and the dmd chip mirrors started failing on 2 different chips that cost me $90 to replace because they are extremely sensitive to power surges so no more dlp for me only lcd now. The new lcd projectors have new tech that really surpasses dlp anyways as 3 chip dlp's are too expensive.

      Justin Time technology is improving time to time. New projectors are really good even at budget friendly I have test epson for LCD projectors only one friend own a NEC projector which is LCD too but the contrast is very weak on those brands I would recommend epson 1040 (brighter 3000 lumens) or 2040 ( better blacks and more useful tools) those are budget friendly and if interested on dlp projectors optoma hd142 for solid blacks. there other brands and kind such as LG which use led technology not need to change light bulbs and Last up to 30,000 hours. I have use epson ,optoma,Benq and LG. I use my optoma gt1080 for small rooms because is short throw plas great colors after calibrate, epson very bright great for living room or places with more light and LG very portable projectors, benq has a balance between great colors and good blacks the best is try it yourself on your environment and keep the one work best for you.

      I am trying to decide between an Optoma 29 HD Darbee and an Epson Powerlite Home Cinema 3010. I was looking ig at the Caiwei A9 but am really hesitant that it's a lemon. Can you provide any advice?

    • @pilinke11
      @pilinke11  7 лет назад

      you should check some videos of both projectors. One is dlp (optoma) and the other is lcd (epson ) if you are sensitive to rainbow go for epson, one of the reasons I like epson is how colorful are. in the other hand the optoma has the darbee which give a lot more details, sharper images and better blacks because is dlp.
      check the space you have, the place you are going to install and how big the screen would be on both.
      Some people I know recommend BenQ because is a balance between good colors and blacks , my friend own a BenQ 2050 and he like it. check your budget and what options you have around that budget.

    I have never liked the quality of the reds in DLP projectors. I have seen many different models of DLP projectors and the reds always look rusty brownish. This is why the yellows in this video looked mustard greenish. If DLP projectors could reproduce the reds better, then they would win.

  • @brotherbonesx3163

    This is inconclusive evidence as "we the audience" cannot differentiate the quality of YOUR video of YOUR camera versus the viewers monitor in-which we are seeing it. You also introduce another perspective outside of our viewing pleasure by projecting it. Many things comes into perspective: The type of cloth you are projecting on, Ambient light, time of day and your camera that is capturing all of this video not he mention the quality that you uploaded it at.
