The Honda Civic has a sweet spot in my heart because technically, the FC (10th Generation) was my first car and its R18 engine is just adequate but tamed. Medyo gundam yung itsura diba? It’s sporty and a looker. Pero the FE (11th Generation) sealed the deal because it’s balanced, handling is athletic, fast, pleasant and responsive. Sa looks, alam mo yung pa-Tito/Tita na? Yun siya. Haha!
Oo nga pala, this is the first time I am fully reviewing automobiles and I’m happy to share I am finally latching on to one of my passions. Marahil magtataka kayo dahil malayo sa ginagawa ko, pero this is me trying to get out of my comfort zone. 😊

thank you Macoy for giving us this review. previously watched your review of the all new honda cr-v. its perfect! planning to sell our fourth and get the sixth. i own a civic myself. after so many years of owning it, its still with me. i don't think the sedan is dead. you are right, most of the people here in ph are shifting to crossovers and the likes due to better ground clearance. tama yun sinabi mo, iba talaga yun driving engagement ng sedan. it keeps you planted on the road. sadly, hindi lahat ng daan sa atin ay maganda. this is the first time that I will subscribe and comment here in youtube. goodluck on your future car reviews!

Honda Civic is Honda Civic, its an icon now in the Philippines and a status symbol as well. I had a Civic EK before, it was a head turner, but yeah i had to let it go as well.

Yes, Sedans are dead, but I will still buy the civic if I have the money, instead of an SUV. it's a personal preference thing

A lot of old skoolers are thrown off by small displacement turbo engines today. Technology has evolved, we need to look at the power and torque output instead. For example, a GR Yaris is powered by a 3-cyl 1.6-L engine that puts out 257 horsepower and 360 Nm.
a gr-yaris that costs php 2.9m compared to this 1.7m?
@@SkidibapbapTrying to explain that the old mindset of "displacement means performance" is no longer the rule with today's technology. I'm not comparing the Civic RS with the GR Yaris. OK, for you: the GR Yaris with its 1.6 3-cylinder engine can also outperform cars with larger 4-cylinder engines of similar price.

crossovers suck at everything, they're bad offroad, they also bad onroad. solution: get a sedan/hatch for onroad, get a 4x4 for offroad.
