This is probably the remake of the korean movie "on your wedding day" Its my favourite movie because it teaches that not all lovers end up together but it doesn't mean they didn't get a happy ending. And above all, love is about timing.

As soon as I saw Greg Hsu I knew this would be a great story. The ending was not what I hoped but it was realistic given the strong personalities of the two main characters, and Lara, your calm and gentle storytelling makes it a little easier to take. Since the actual movie won't have you for that, I just might have to skip it. ;)

I think the ending was sad but hopeful at the same time. There was acceptance and acknowledgement of what they are to each other - first love. There will always be that special person who you will never forget and will always have some feelings for - whether it be tinged with sadness or happiness or regret or pain.
It happens for me and my 4 years ex. We deliberately avoid each other because whenever we get close and even talk, we always get so comfortable and get intimate so fast. Her parents don't want her to be her boyfriend because I am not financially stable at that time. I want to take a risk of falling out with her parents, but she doesn't want to, that's why we broke up in the first place. She was married after she is graduated college. We meet on mutual friend's wedding before her marriage, like always we get so comfortable with each other, we hold hand, we laugh like we used to be before, then she tell me about her wedding plan. She wants me to stay away from her, not even want me to attend her wedding. She is afraid that my existence in her life will become a trouble later day. I respect her decision and avoid her also. So, if two people who love each other so much and endure bad years together like them meet again, it definitely can bring back the feeling. Avoid each other is the best decision.

My older brother and his 4 friends I remember each one of them had a girlfriend since year one of collage. They were so madly in love and they used to come all of them with their girlfriends to our house and party or hangout all night... the love they had for their soulmates was like I’m watching a drama out of this world.. I used to say I want that... I want someone to love me like that in the future.. but the time I entered the university it was the time they graduated.. none of them stayed with their girlfriend.. the girls wanted to get married.. but the boys were not ready so they found someone else.. one of the couples after he broke up with the girl decided to wait for him. didn’t stay in touch. They meet again after few years.. he got married to a 7 years younger than him and she got depression.... After the boys got married for few years they came to visit, so i asked them about their lost loved ones if they miss them or not..they said.. “ we lost a great love.... but god sent us an amazing love “ So my point is... I hope you find your amazing one too 😍

Honestly I have dated other women several times after her, but I don't know why there is something missing within me. I have no burning passion for loving them like I love her. Maybe because she and I went through so much hardship together, we both came from dysfunctional family, we turn to each other to find love we need in our youth. Now, my life is much better, I hardly feel any hardship, I am happy now but my current situation makes me unable to love someone as strong as I used to because I and new loves never went through hardship together. Just imagine I am hella broke, I have nothing, my family relationship is dysfunctional even can be considered toxic, I can still have nightmares from my situation then to put perspective how hard that time was for me. Call me crazy but i actually like this kind of ending. It's realistic. It's something that actually happened in real life. Sometimes love is not about being together but letting go the one you love for their happiness. The ending is one of the main factor that made me decide whether the story is a good one or not. Happy ending is good. But this kind of ending is the one that always stick to my head. And this kind of story is the one that I always recommend to my friends.
True. Reality bites. It’s the tragic or sad endings that hit hard. But real life is a continuous process. This chapter may have ended sad but there will be another chapter that‘ll start. And who knows what‘ll happen there.

The endings which are closer to reality are not expected and liked by many for obv reasons we want to always see happy endings but we also know that’s not possible in real life
The story is similar to On Your Wedding Day. Clearly, the main point of this is not all of us can have an happy ending there will always be an problem and that problem have a huge impact on your life. We can't tell what will happen in the end both implies in life and love, all we can do is be thankful on what we have and we must cherish it, 'cause as i said not all of us can achieve happy ending. Ps. I also thought that having healthy relationship always have an bad ending.

I think the Korean version was also a remake from the Taiwanese version "You are the Apple of My Eye". It was also comedic, romantic, and tear-jerking.

Clearly, the main point of this is not all of us can have an happy ending there will always be an problem and that problem have a huge impact on your life. We can't tell what will happen in the end both implies in life and love, all we can do is be thankful on what we have and we must cherish it, 'cause as i said not all of us can achieve happy ending.
Ps. I also thought that having healthy relationship always have an bad ending.
