Op you should try oval racing way more fun then drag racing especially dirt. I been doing asphalt oval since I was 10 started out in a mustang 4 cylinder asphalt ministock back in 2002 and I'm now 32 and have ran in just about every class there is on dirt and asphalt except any type of NASCAR in the top 3 series.

As a racer myself, heat wins are not handed out. They're not a gimme. Usually if you can win a heat you can win the main. If you're not then you missed something in your setup. Could be small like a couple psi or big like springs or shocks

Mixed results can make for a tough weekend. Sucks wasting a great qualifying effort on Thursday night. Nights like those take wind out of the sails. Congrats on staying in there swinging. The way I read HTF's position today, is you can continue to be competitive in your regional shows while accepting tough times at shows like Eldora, or, you can make the investment in a crew chief and the rest of the tools required like testing that could help take you to the nest level. I worked on a sprint car team in the 90s that was at the exact crossroads. We were one of the teams to beat every weekend in our state, but, man did we want to make the jump to travel with the Outlaws. The year before the team shut down, we went out on the 1st 1/3 of the Outlaw schedule. Man did we learn alot. Most important, we were no where close to being ready for a full time Outlaw season. We finished off the season at home and decided to shut it down over the winter. It's a huge leap from the little pond to the big pond. Whatever direction you guys decide, the most important advice I could offer is, what you're doing is supposed to be FUN and that's exactly what you guys are having. Have FUN Boys

I still say a Rayburn bumper bar would still work at Eldora to keep the rear deck from getting knocked off...btw They should've never allowed the first start of the heat race when Davenport ran over the #10's nose before the start/finish line...imo An Eldora Heat Race Win is something they can never take away!
I have been wondering how they got tore up. We were 3 rows up at the flag stand and couldn't see anything except him hitting the wall and going backwards. Results this past weekend tell me he can drive, maybe needs a bit more motor and to figure out how to enter turn 1 up high when the car in front takes all the air. Once he figures that out and can get off the bottom a bit quicker he will be competing for wins.

But rocket house car has 12 wins this year. We had a sweet bloomquist heat race win on Saturday night with the front row of 2 rockets. If longhorn is so good with so many topnational drivers on a longhorn car. Why did the rocket house car win 12 races this year s o far. I say the rocket house car is a favorite to win the lucas oil title this year. It's a shame they take the DTWC from Portsmith to Eldora to a track that one driver has dominated the last 5 years. Basically handling it to him. But I think it will be harder if the track is like it was this weekend changing the whole weekend vs the last 5 years.

All in all tho great show and much better job done with your program. Now if we could just get Jesse to do some work and help with the program LOLOLOLLOL😂
