Me encontré un video sugerido por RUclips y desde entonces quedé prendido y maravillado con su fluidez, estilo y pasión que tiene ese gran virtuoso
Antonio tiene muchos recursos expresivos. Tiene presente la poesía, el destello, es delicado y su composición es equilibrada porque tiene buen gusto y eso se nota en su arquitectura musical. No necesita nuestros elogios y, sin embargo, los merece. Éxitos y sigue creando para el deleite de los aficionados. Gracias por todo.

Para mí el mejor a día de hoy! por desgracia se nos fue el mejor de todos pero creo que antonio tiene todo ,técnica perfecta la capacidad de componer poesía pura y la sencillez de no querer impresionar.muchos éxitos antonio.

Well played, but very geeky & sparse. Feels a bit hollow.
Are you crazy? I think you need your ears and eye sight checked. The timings in this, the stalls and note holds looks like exceptional play to me, the feel through the piece, slow sweet areas and drama into speed and power is awesome. I mean if you do not like the music so be it, but the guy is an exceptional player, and looking at his wiki that is pretty much the case.
+petecabrina I'm a great fan of Antonio Rey, doesn't mean I have to love everything from him. This one in particular feels sparse, a bit hollow as if lacking a storyline.
Antonio Brandao Fair enough, I have not heard a lot of his work, but this piece and his work in general seems beyond most flamenco players. Seems to have exceptional skill and feel, incredibly clean. Can you give me some suggestions of his other work?
petecabrina Yeah I didn't mean to imply that he isn't playing well. He's playing brilliantly as always, and the harmonies are rich and exquisite. The thing I meant to say is, that he seems to be just navigating harmonies (in Taranta) exploring tones and feelings. But it doesn't have a storyline as in a actual theme/composition. In other words, it sounds like an Etude - maybe that makes what I mean more clear. I assume you know what an Etude is,and how it contrasts with a theme composition.
petecabrina sorry forgot the suggestion. My favorite from him is his performance at a festival. Search RUclips for Antonio Rey 1 premio XXII certamen internacional guitarra flamenca en Jerez. That one even gives me the chills! :) cheers
