It is crucial for us Christians to comprehend that there is "no other salvation" according to the Christian faith, and that it is both our duty and privilege to share the Good News with all living things.
Thanks for this wonderful talk-sharing video about salvation. Now, it is clear to me what salvation is all about. Keep making this kind of content. God bless you more!
If this is so please explain Eph 2:8-9 and also the meaning of John 19:30? Did Jesus lie when He said it is finished? Which is the Greek word tetelasti meaning paid in FULL
@@damianjankowski4280 of course he didnt lie. The sacrifice of the passover which he celebrated in the upper room is now complete. The passover without a sacrificial lamb is just a meal, and Jesus dying on the cross without the passover is just a Roman murder but the exodus he had to undergo as Moses and Elijah alluded to on mount Tabor in the transfiguration was pointing towards the passover in the upper room. But 5he passover was not completed until the 4th cup was drunk by the High priest, and this is what Jesus completed on the cross. When he took the gaul the sour wine and drank it from the sponge he drank the final cup of consummation which completed the sacrifice. Now the price was paid BUT the crucifix without the resurrection leaves the prophesy unfullfilled. You wouldn't say that Jesus died on the cross salvation is completed for man and now ALL people are saved, that is because we have to participate in that cross that sacrifice. This is why the first Christian's willingly dies for the faith. They participated in the suffering of Jesus Christ. Look up a video on the 4th cup by scott hahn. It's an amazin and much better explaination than I can give and will give you deeper answers to your questions. All the best prayers to you and your family.
@@damianjankowski4280 as for ephesians 8-9 I would and any catholic agree it is grace that saves. the gift of God. Council of Trent strongly reaffirms this. But you cant take scripture verse by verse. Scripture must be looked at as a whole. This is actually what Cathokic means. Of the whole OR universal. We can also see in scripture this verse. James 2 14 -26, faith without works is dead. And 11 Corinthians 13:1-3 if I have faith that moves mountains but not love..I gain nothing. Or Mathew 25:24-30... the servant given a bag of gold or talent which is a symbol of grace, gives back 5he gift without multiplying it and his gold is taken given to another and he is set out to wail and gnash teeth, which is a metaphor for hell. We must always take the responsibility of the gift of grace seriously and put it to work. The harvest is upon us but the workers are few. God bless you and I'll say a pray of Thanksgiving for you my friend.
It is true that God is love, as the father loves his son, the son loves his father and this is show a spiritual love with each other. Talking about salvation it is nearly said that salvation is the one who can save us and it is salvation that save us, we are being save by salvation in the sacrifice of our God.💖
Wow. Ive learned so much to this topic about salvation. It really helps me to know more about salvation and being a catholic. I will share this wonderful video so that anyone would view this type of podcast.
It was a very informative session. As a christian, my knowledge about this certain topic like salvation is not that wide. That's why this video helped me to deepen my understanding about salvation and how it is really important for us. In addition, it also help me as a person to grow more in not just moral aspect but also in spiritual.
Thank you for this kind of video, it really help Christians to know more about on what is salvation. Like Philippians said work on you're own salvation, that's a reminder to us to be good , to change our self , to be the better version of our self , and mostly to repent our sins. And don't forget to follow Christ with all you're heart and trust him, because he is our almighty father , our only savior.
A very well-said informational video. It enlightens us on salvation, showing us that it is a personal connection and that salvation is very much present in reality. Additionally, I agree that salvation does not base on who we are or what we do on Earth but on being saved by union with Christ through faith. In Ephesians 2:8-9, God's Word says that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and not by our efforts or works.
This is the kind of thoughtful video that can help many individuals to become more clear about the salvation of God. But for me, we are the one who can save ourselves, but we can't do it without asking for guidance from him and not accepting him as our teacher and savior.
I really like dr. Barbar's online talks, but his audio is always distorted. Dr. Barbar please get a better microphone or whatever to correct it. We need to hear your message. Thanks
In this video, I am very enlightened about the differences of Protestants and Catholics' views of salvation. The protestant view holds that salvation is only attained through faith in Jesus and his atoning work on the cross; they believe that salvation is obtained solely by God's grace. In contrast, Catholics held that both faith and good works are necessary for salvation. For salvation, faith is vital.
So this is what salvation really mean, I am always confused about it. I know God has a purpose and way that’s why I am here listening about what salvation is. I am grateful to know this at the same time I am so blessed. Godbless you more and your youtube account. Continue spreading about this kind of topic it’s really interesting.
Thank you for the knowledge❤️I hope i can learn more of this topics!Salvation History is God's plan to save mankind from sin and lift the human family to the glory of Heaven. This plan unfolds through Abraham, Moses and David, and comes to its fulfillment through Our Savior Jesus Christ. It then continues through the work of the Church until Christ comes again.
There are a lot of verses in the bible are misinterpreted by others and make them as their only beliefs and proofs. That's why there are a lot of debates about it, specially when it comes to salvation. For me, only faith can truly save you from it, aside and despite from a lot of commentaries popping in the mouth of every people, as long as I trust God with all of my heart and I believe in his existence.
Hosanna = save us Redemption = when you were in financial straights, or debt. Sell self into servitude. What you do when you have a debt you can’t pay back. Ie..selling ones land.(family legacy gone) or go into enslavement. Salvation = Dog barking be back later Thanks for this! Great job guys!
I agree that salvation is not the insurance to get to heaven. Because most of the Catholics do good things in order to be saved and can pass through the kingdom of God, just like paying your insurance on time to get the benefits that you want. Where the truth is that salvation is also becoming like Jesus Christ himself. Jesus is a Messianic King who reigns by becoming a servant. The nature of Jesus' Messianic Kingdom turns upside down all of our value systems. Like you gain honor by serving others, instead of getting revenge, you forgive, and in order to gain true wealth, you have to give it away. To follow the servant Messiah, you must become a servant yourself. In order to acquire salvation, you have to have the characteristics of Jesus.
You don't have to attend church regularly or perform nice deeds to be saved; all you need to do is find a connection with Christ by having faith and trust in him.
Baptism dose not save anyone what about thief on the cross he wasn't baptized and yet the Lord Jesus Christ told him today thou shalt be with me in Paradise
God is not confined to, or by, the sacraments. That said, the good thief had what is known as a "baptism by blood." His suffering and repentance was enough. Baptism was no longer a possibility for him.
Hi Damian, I was just wondering how you know that the thief on the cross hadn't been baptised. As far as I can tell there is no information in the Bible as to whether he was or wasn't but perhaps you have access to information that I'm not aware of. Thanks in advance for your reply, God bless, A
@@Vigula my friend as you claim baptismal salvation/regeneration. Please explain this theif being on the cross? If as you say you believe in baptismal regeneration, then surely by your own view you have shown yourself to be wrong. If you are regenerated you will not commit sin. Do you think the Romans would have baptized him?
1 Peter 3 : 20 - 2220 to those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water, 21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also-not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God.[e] It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22 who has gone into heaven and is at God’s right hand-with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him. The exodus through the red sea was a type of baptism, Moses being sent down the Rive Nile to be found was a type of baptism. Noah's ark was a type of baptism. Even the story of Namaan who was washed clean of his leprosy by the word of Elisha who was given a double portion of Elijah's grace. the leprosy is a metaphor for the effect of sin on the soul. 2 Kings 5 1-19. Jesus himself then was baptized to empower the natural waters of the Earth to effect the soul to fill the loss of Grace due to original sin. he says He must be baptized to fulfill all righteousness Matt 3: 14-17 And then Jesus in His resurrected body commanded the 11 to go and make disciples of all nations to go out and baptize all in the name of the Father the Son and The holy spirit. Matt 28; 16-20. Why? because Jesus instructed that noone willenter the Kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the spirit. John 3:5 - and Mark 16:16 states that whoever believes and is baptized will be saved but whoever does not willbe condemned. The qualifier is AND is baptized, So I would say that this is pretty important.
Dear Damian, Er...It's clear from what you say that you're more than a little confused when it comes to what baptism is and what it does. May I suggest you look up the section on baptism in this document www.vatican.va/archive/ENG0015/_INDEX.HTM (read the whole thing if you like - I'm sure it will be informative). As for the Romans, since Jesus was having his disciples baptise people before His death and resurrection, there's no reason to believe these were not effective, after all He is God. Would He be getting them baptised only for someone to later say 'You've been tricked, it doesn't count, you have to be baptised again!' Who knows for sure? Sorry, it seems you know for sure, so what more can I say? But it's all irrelevant anyway, 'cos if He says you're going to be in Paradise with Him, you'd better believe it. He is not bound by the sacraments as we are because He's GOD, in case you hadn't noticed. God bless, A

So true about the personal relationship aspect. It is both / And!! Its personal AND communal in the present AND in the past and the future.
Personal relationship isn’t something that you need with god. God wants intimacy with us.
