Great watch, but i prefer the 1815. More classic design, and a little more flexible. You can wear it in smart casual, with a nice jumper and shirt whereas the Saxonia line is a strict suit and tie dress watch. I am flirting with the 1815 Auf/Ab in white gold.

You mean quartz powered watches? No, not that we know of.
Great watch. But I suggest A Lange and his sons two minor changes which in my mind would raise it even further. One is to widen the lugs ever so slightly, they visually look a bit thin and frail compared to the bezel. The other is to skip the “made in Germany” text on the dial. It’s already at the back and all who knows about Lange knows that they a situated in Germany. Mercedes Benz would newer write Made in Germany on the hood or trunk. The same should go for watch makers. Put the country of production on the watch but not in writing on the dial.
I disagree with both your points. There is a proudly and distinctly German feel to a Lange, that is worth some text on the dial.
As for the lugs - they are part of the watch's charm in my opinion. I wouldn't change a damn thing.
