    Nice video of what looks like very well designed exhibit! One small correcrion: the world's largest parrot is the blue hyacinth macaw. 😉

    Wow it so weird to see actually good primate and ape enclosures. Hence my zoo is Cleveland.

    I love your videos, Derek. Thank you for showcasing one of my favorite exhibits at the Cincinnati Zoo. I loved the footage of the bonobos, aye ayes, Henry the orangutan, Kip the gibbon and sifakas. I didn’t know that aye ayes were so rare in American zoos. I also have three questions.
    1. What are your thoughts on the Cincinnati Zoo’s Manatee Springs?
    2. Are there any Cincinnati Zoo exhibits you would like to see on my tours?
    3. What are your thoughts on the Roadhouse at the Columbus Zoo?

      1. Manatee Springs is a good quality attraction, and gets bonus points for being one of the few places outside of Florida to rehabilitate Manatees.
      2. Rhino Reserve!
      3. The Roadhouse is great for seeing lesser known animals, but, like all nocturnal buildings, terrible for photography and filming.😅

      @@DereksZooVideos0118 Also, are there any zoos that you consider visiting in the future?

      @@JacobFiveash I'd like to visit every major U.S. zoo eventually. St. Louis will hopefully be the next big name I get to, but probably not until next year.

      @@DereksZooVideos0118 As for me, I really want to visit the Smithsonian National Zoo. I haven’t been there in a long time and I heard they recently reopened and renovated their historic bird house.

    I thought the zoo was only 64 acres?

    • @DereksZooVideos0118
      @DereksZooVideos0118  Год назад +2

      It's listed as 75 acres now. I think it was a pretty recent changed, and might be related to the new Elephant Expansion, which is replacing a parking area so it may not have been counted before, but I'm not entirely sure.
